I used to play this game with my dad in our local TimeOut back in the early 2000s. The arcade has been closed for many years now. We never got to finish it, but now I know what were the things we missed out on. Thank you for posting this.

Antares are always addressed as squadron at the briefing for a reason. It canonically should be 4 aircraft, those are players, the game support 4 player co-op and designed to do so throughout all available mission. Shame they did not just add 3 additional bot if ther are no player to play with.

Holding down on the change target button, usually triangle, has given that tracking target (or padlock to use an old school term) camera view since at least Ace Combat 04 on the PS2.

追尾の上手さ、対地攻撃の的確さからかなりの手練プレイヤーだな。 ただSF-39は高速道路から離陸してくるのでアプローチの方向を合わせれば離陸直後の無防備な敵を楽に落とせる。

That's the joke, that its really not that great of a hotel. The game even gives you an achievement/trophy called "Kosher!" for destroying the ham.

I spent a lot of time at the Lincolnshire ranges late 80's early 90's, Jaguar and Tornado. What was amazing was the accuracy of the bombing and the fact you could see so many aircraft. Nowadays I'm told you can sit all day and see nothing. I do worry about the numbers in our armed forces nowadays. No matter how hi tech an aircraft it can't be in two places at once.
