@olSnakeEyeslo if your car is the 2.2 or the 2.5 litre then you fit it underneath the gear gaitor in the car

@hascam-6935 thinking of the dpf and map myself how is that clutch wise can it cope? I done it to my c class and it done the clutch in 6 months
@hascam-69356 ай бұрын
@jamiehall8188 I've had the remap on mine for around 9 months, and I've had no issues yet. I think some people have clutch slip if it's already on its way out. My MOT is coming up soon, and I hope it passes with no DPF
@jamiehall81886 ай бұрын
@hascam-6935 as long as there is no visible damage or evidence of it being removed I think it's just a visual inspection. Ok well tha5s good to know. What power is yours now with the map and does it make the car better daily to drive even if your just cruising about normally? Cheers
@hascam-69356 ай бұрын
@jamiehall8188 it's supposed to be 235hp but I haven't had it on a dyno. I think it does help driving normally, but the 2.2 doesn't have tons of low down torque, and it's limited in 1st and 2nd, and that's still the case when mapped. But around 2.5k rpm it really starts to come alive

Look cool, but the cups look like they'll sorta crumble n wither only after a short while. Maybe a quick re'review a year later or something would be helpful ?
@hascam-69357 ай бұрын
The pads will definitely crumble and fall apart after a year or two. I'm gonna change the pads when some are available so it shouldn't be an issue for me.

I wouldn't say this is a high mileage car at 109k, these diesel engines can last over well over 200k if looked after

I did debate about calling it high mileage, but some people do think over 100k miles is high mileage

I've owned both the ROG Ally and the Legion Go and the Legion Go is honestly far superior to me. It feels a bit more cheap compared to the Ally's case and buttons, but the display and removable controllers plus the built-in stand are such a gamechanger to me. Plus with integer scaling most of the games run so good while looking stunning enough for a handheld.

Great review. I have a preface 2.2 Titanium X, none sport and I only get about 45mpg combined. Even mine on 18inch wheels and non sport suspension, can still crash about over bumps. I can confirm mine is pretty decent on back roads - for what it is. Oh and I also fitted the short shifter, makes a nice difference.

It just looks a bit crappy to be honest... Those buttons, those sticks, that trackpad. It's giving cheap gaming mouse. And I bet that D-Pad is absolutely dire. I'm sure the internals are competent, but Lenovo usually design ergonomic and functional devices with great quality interface buttons, and this is not their usual standard especially given the price.
@hascam-693510 ай бұрын
The buttons and sticks feel fine, the d-pad some people won't like as it feels like regular buttons and there's no travel, but I don't play a lot of games that use the d-pad much
@jacobkersey172010 ай бұрын
Also sticks shown here have aftermarket grips on them. I put rounded and raised grips on mine but that may be what you are seeing as cheap. The sticks are actually decent, I just don't like concave thumb rests personally.

@jacobkersey1720 Yeah, same reason I put grips on mine

Well done with the review. I have a 2.2 X Sport. Like yours, the DPF has been removed and this makes the breathing much improved. Smaller 16", higher profile, wheels and tyres have been fitted, this greatly improves an already decent ride, it rides bumps and potholes very well, making it really comfortable. The wheels are 7.5 kg lighter than the 19" and this makes it noticeably faster to accelerate in any gear at any speed, given the 30kg saving in unsprung weight. The available torque can spin them up much faster. As you say, the torque is electronically limited in the first two gears and you need to be aware at low revs. In third and above it really fly's. The handling is excellent, the steering is communicative, roll is very well controlled, the lowered stiffer suspension really shows its worth and you can have a lot of fun on a B road, given it is such a large heavy car. It is a car that is set up to do long distances, the seats are large, comfortable and supportive and on motorways you can just use the large torque in sixth to overtake and make progress without any fuss. The last two times I have taken it to France, I have done over 6000 miles and been overtaken by nobody!

The cooled seats are only really effective if the AC is on and you direct the air downwards. the fans are the same as those found in a PC case easy swap if they fail.

It handles really well for its size and weight, and my switch LEDs work (the blue ones) so I don't actually think my switch is the problem, I think it might be the fans underneath the seat and I don't want to know how expensive the fix is 😂

Would you say this is loud? Do you wish you went for the non resonated system?
@hascam-69352 жыл бұрын
I have a decat now so it's a bit louder and deeper. I sometimes wish it was a little louder but there's not really any drone on motorways with the resonator so it's one of them trade offs. One of the good thing about Piper though is that you can buy the parts separate, so If I wanted more noise I could buy the pipe with no res and try it out and swap back if it's too loud.
@bf32562 жыл бұрын
@@hascam-6935 thanks for the response dude! I've got no plans to go decat in that future so I think the non res may be the best option for me is it a very deep sounding exhaust or does it sound quite sporty too? Not a big fan of really deep ones.
@hascam-69352 жыл бұрын
@@bf3256 I like it mate, I don't think it's too loud or deep. 3 inch exhausts in general will sound deeper than the miltek exhausts simply because it's a bigger diameter. On a stock cat I imagine a non resonated version will be sound mate.
