Have you tried the super weilong? I also mained the Gan 15 and loved it but after switching to the weilong I realized it's exactly what I was really wanting from the 15. The auto aligning is so much nicer and gives you a really smooth and fast cube but feels much more stable and precise than the 15. The strongest magnet setting is much stronger than the 15 and the weakest is weaker than the 15. On the 15 I could turn super fast but corner twists were not uncommon, on this cube corner twists are almost impossible. Sometimes the turns on the 15 would feel kind of "crunchy" because of the slight misalignment on the other layers during the turn, I find this most common on the F' moves in like T and J perms. The weilong is buttery smooth by comparison. The only thing is that the 15 is definitely way lighter which I like a lot, but the weight distribution on the weilong is really good in my opinion. Just my 2 cents but if you get the chance to try it out before sinking almost $100 into the super weilong, definitely worth a shot.

@@ethanmiller6564 i took the repelling magnets out and still feel like my magnets are too strong on the lightest setting. Ive tried to use it but haven’t been able to adjust to it. although it feels like its got lots of potential I somehow still havent got good results wiith it. Maybe mine had a defext or something it was a super early batch.

@elliottwilliamson2560 yeah maybe just a preference thing then. My turning is not super precise so I like to fall back on the magnets a little too much haha

6:00 I agree with your opinion. Like I'm assuming most people who buy the 14 Pro or the 15 will know the GAN name and won't be abusing the center cap to break the legs of the cap anyways. Even if they are kids, they probably know its a valuable product to them and will take good care of it to not break.

Maglev and center cap remover are innovative technology they shouldn't hate on it. You use a tool for tensioning as well. I think a compromise could be okay.

@@elliottwilliamson2560 better than I thought. I got a 14.25 in my first competition on the last Saturday of September (September 28th) and I think I performed well under pressure. So yeah comp average is actually pretty accurate to my skill. I'd like to think I improved a lot for the comp. I think I was averaging like 18-20 seconds when I signed up.

thoughts on super weilong is it better than v9
@elliottwilliamson2560 Жыл бұрын
The super weilong is a top tier cube, the turning and overall weight is super light and the auto align is extremely effective but a lil too much for me. Its very stable but not locky whatsoever. I would probably main this cube if it were bigger and has weaker magnets. Its about 54.5mm and i prefer 56mm. Despite the magnets being adjustable i dont like any of the settings because theyre all too strong, the repelling magnets are too strong aswell. Ive never tried the regular wrmv9 but i have the special edition and i dont think one is better than the other it all comes down to personal preference. I like the super more than special edition but i think its because i prefer maglev over springs.
