It is Jesus who remits us from our sins, and that is why it is stated that we should be babtized in the NAME of JESUS for the revision of our sins. "Ye shall shall call HIS NAME JESUS FOR HE SHALL REMIT YOU OF YOUR SINS." So it is NOT BAPTISM that remits us of our sins, but JESUS and JESUS is the CHIEF OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. That the Hebrews didn't consider "I am" to be a proper name of God is self-evident in the fact that they never replaced it with the generic title "LORD" - like they did with his names just about everywhere else in their scriptures. As they did in the next verse where God's name was written by Moses. Exodus 3:15 God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers-the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob-has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation." A more accurate English translation would be, "I will be what I do." And in this context it supports the idea that the name given to Moses at that time and in that situation was probably something along the lines of "God Who Fulfills His Promises". This talk wasn't the clearest. The Speaker spends most of the time denigrating the Church, but I think the gist is that there are many Churches because of false teachers. I agree, but the Speaker hasn't really given an argument for why he is teaching truth versus the other churches other than to say that his faith is based on the Bible only. Yet, this is the Protestant mantra, Scripture alone, faith alone, grace alone. Many churches base their faith on the Bible, yet they all disagree on fundamental teachings such as baptism, justification and salvation, why is that? If the Bible is all you need and it's clear enough for anyone to understand without a teacher, why do all these churches disagree on basic truths? The Speaker can't possibly believe that Christadelphians are the only genuine truth-seekers in the world, but that does seem to be his argument as he speaks of a "tiny proportion" who will be saved. Christadelphians comprise around 50,000 members, which is 0.00055% of the world's population and 0.002% of its Christian population. This is indeed a "tiny proportion". The Lord didn't spare Sodom for such a tiny remnant, so why should we think such a tiny proportion of the world has it right despite all other Christians?

I believe that The Day of the LORD will begin at year 2031. "No man knows the hour or the day", but we can know the season and I believe we can know the year. In July 2023 I awoke from a vision/dream where I saw the Hebrew words “Tav Av” written in black ink on a white paper. Over the course of a week, I was led to look up the meaning of the words, their Hebrew numeric values (Gematria and Strong’s concordance) and also to look at the original/authentic Hebrew pictorial symbol associated with the word “Tav”. Here is what I found… “Tav Av” - Firstly, this should be read from right to left. So, in simple/western terms we would read “Av Tav” “Av” means “Father” “Tav” means “Sign/Mark or Seal” The words written have a meaning of “Father’s Mark” and are referred to in the book of Revelation. The word “Tav” is also the 22nd letter (last letter) of the Hebrew alphabet. Jesus said I am the aleph and the tav (the beginning and the end)… indicating His presence as the Living Word of God. “Tav” has the original Hebrew pictorial symbol of a + (cross) - later changed to a X (interesting how Twitter have adopted this as its’ new “sign”). So, we can see that the “Father’s Sign” (Av Tav/Tav Av) is in fact the Cross + , and this was revealed to the world 2,000 years ago as the place where the Lord Jesus would give His life as a sacrifice for the sins of the world. Continuing with the study of “Tav Av”… I looked up the two numeric values of each word in Hebrew Gematria. “Tav” = 2296 “Av” = 1495 When the two numbers are added together it comes to 3791. In Strong’s concordance, 3791 has the word “Kethab” as its’ root meaning. The word “kethab” means a divine writing (a word from God) and was used in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) to reference the writing given to Moses and also the prophet Daniel. When you look up the number 3791 as a year on the Hebrew calendar it comes to 31AD. My understanding of what the LORD has shown through HIS divine word in the phrase “Tav Av” is that Christ was crucified in 31AD exactly 4,000 years after the fall of Adam and Christ will return exactly 2,000 years later to establish HIS kingdom upon the earth for 1,000 years. Praise the LORD!

The Bible talks about the end of the age, not the end of the world. So, it speaks of the end of the age that was present in the 1st century when the text was written, not the 21st century. The age that ended back then was the old covenant, finalized with the destruction of the temple in 70ad. Like Rev 1:1 says, all that was soon for the 1st century believers. It was their future, but it it in our past.

I don't see how atheism could be better than accepting theistic evolution. TE does not interpret Genesis hyper-literally, whereas atheists do not believe very much of the Bible.
