Tip! I don't show left hand, but I learned this style of playing this song off of another cover on KZbin by "Aged Teen" He has a diff vocal style but it's this chord progression! I may add a few hammer ons and one bar chord in my pauses. But he show's his left hand!

Dope in the wash, strangers in bed Dead-end nights make a heart beat half dead In the mirror, striking a pose Conjured up glamour in a school play rock show Guess it doesn't last forever, just a feeling to remember Dope on a rope we hang, the catwalk's a plank Unless we turn around, and do it again Generations change In a blink the fad's extinct Find your lover or your taste of fame Before you wake up from your dream Everything changes when When the last call lights shine Seizing the heartbeat of our lovely reckless times Everything changes when When the last call lights shine Seizing the heartbeat of our lovely reckless times Collect taxidermy fist Smudges on your wrists New friends flood the list 'till you're sick Trying to have a ball in a tagged-up stall Numb when it's from making sense of it all I guess it doesn't last forever Just the feeling to remember Dope on a rope we hang, the catwalk's a plank Unless we turn around, and do it again Dope on a rope we hang, the catwalk's a plank Unless we turn around, and do it again Generations change In a blink, the fad's extinct Find your lover or your taste of fame Before you wake up from your dream Everything changes when When the last call lights shine Seizing the heartbeat of our lovely reckless times Everything changes when When the last call lights shine Seizing the heartbeat of our lovely reckless time

Am The skies are full of dirt and gray G The city's kids come out to play Am Running in the broken glass Em Am From old deserted windows so on so fourth. These are the chords. of course you add picking to it. I'm not sure the exact picking pattern as I play by ear so I usually just can play whatever I hear.

One comes of it, love it, love it Let go of it, love comes from it We're not of this world for long Faith and promise, keep me honest When starvation falls upon us Daylight told me he would be Gone with cold words spoke among hers Wretched is the tongue of their world We're not of that world at all We never will be Wouldn't it be fine to stand behind The words we say in the best of times Oh, and you and I know all too well About the hell and paradise right here on earth Keep it, use it, build it, move it Claims can't touch how time will prove it Watch us fly as loud as we can Let her heartbeat change what I am now Wouldn't it be fine to stand behind The words we say in the best of times Oh, and you and I know all too well About the hell and paradise right here on earth

@@magnusruben9646 Thanks! So nice to hear. It's the open D, which is how it gets that continual rolling sound. I'm kind of continually picking even as I move my fretting hand through licks. I barely ever played it live because I didn't want to tune and retune everything plus I was playing more electric rock. I did do some acoustic duo shows with a bass player (a la Hot Tuna) where we started the 2nd set with this and then I only had to retune. We modified the ending too so it didn't just stop.
