Hello, and yes I did - long story short it was the thermocouple switch which controls the cold start valve. Once replaced the issue went away, that was 3 years ago and knock on the wood everything's ok since kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX2oaYeJmdWCmtU

Hi Joseph, I replaced that head unit with a Kenwood DMX 7017 which works a treat. I've kept the original head unit, will probably put it back in once the car has a classic status. 😁

Hey, I have the same cd player on my w209 and the cd stopped working few months ago.. I tried to eject it but It stucked inside!! Please,someby will tell me how to Eject the cd manually, I tired to listen to the radio!!

Sorry to hear about that Chris, I'm not sure how to eject the CD as there doesnt seem to be any manual reject option. You might need to take the unit apart to see what's wrong and /or replace the CD drive.

No Mark, that was custom made - I think C124 only came with black or blue soft tops from the factory.

My w124 is Ferrari red with black soft top has vintage Ferrari looks at first glances and massive heavy chrome 17” wheels, awesome 😎 looks
