We want chickens raised like the organic chicken growers are doing with the coop on wheels in the pasture with the hens following it around, fertilizing as they go. Tell Trudeau to grow his crickets and sell them to pasture raised chicken growers so they can toss them out to make the chickens fatter and healthier than eating glyphosate gmo corn. The sugar beet industry was big in the thumb in Michigan. But I drove thru there this summer and no sugar beets. Just windmills. Never can farm those fields again with those 20 ft by 20 ft by 30 ft cement anchors holding those windmills in the ground. Most of them not moving. They know that 50% of the power is lost before that electricity gets to Detroit. And they make a horrible noise. A no win situation.

Come-On! Sugar Beets as a commercial crop was only possible due to the 1959-Cuban Cane Sugar-Embargo. IKE was President. Had that embargo not been put in-place beet growing would never have happened Post-WW-II. Farmers are just crying Welfare-Queers. They've lived off the Federal Govt's subsidize since 1930's when FDR was President. I grew-up on a farm in ND and West of the 98th. Farming West of the 98th is Madness. If you do not know the importance of the 98th Meridian, you will surely go broke farming on the Great Plains. What is more, refined sugar is worse then cigarettes. The Gov't supported sugar beets as part of War Production during WW-II. Just like Custom-Combining, it too was due to Federal Gov't War Production efforts.

Also think that the GW beet sugar processing plant in Western Nebr. is closed too.
