The Pronto looks like a fun little bent. Does anyone know what that helmet Pat is wearing with the built-in taillight is? It looks interesting. I also ride motorcycles. There is a helmet-mounted taillight called "Brake Free" that can be mounted on just about any motorcycle helmet that I use. I've had car drivers and other motorcycle riders tell me that it's very noticeable when they are behind.

Awesome trike! I have a very similarly-outfitted HP FS26 Ped-elec with the rohloff in the back and the Shimano Steps EP8 motor in the front, built a few years ago. I have a few thousand miles on it and it's still riding like new. My question for Bent Up is, is there a way to pull wattage (power), cadence, and speed from the Shimano stuff into some sort of fitness tracking app on my phone via bluetooth? I'd heard about Shimano possibly supporting it in their app "sometime in the future" but I've had no luck trying to reach out to them, and my current bike shop doesn't seem interested in pushing them for an answer.

It would be cool if there was any information about what features are on this trike that make it so awesome. I used to have a gekko fx 20 which I sold in 2018, I'd be curious to know what the latest features are compared to any other trike that make the scorpion fs20 better.

I haven't been here before, but I just had to check it out - the title indicated my trusty HP Scorpion. I was wowed by the heroic music - perfectly fit to that magnificent machine. Then I practically stood up and cheered when I saw the lady flying - FLYING! What a wonderful tribute to never growing old. Hoo-RAH Sylvia!

Sylvia, what is the loop coming from under the frame on the right side? It really looks great in yellow.

The loop under Sylvia’s trike is made up of the cable for her Shimano STEPS speed sensor and power cables as well as the dual cables for the Rohloff SpeedHub.

Wow! Just in time for the big trip. Was a brisk 42 degrees here in southern Michigan but I took my new Ice Adventure HD out for it’s maiden ride. 2 laps around my country block for 12 miles total. Just a little shake down but I think I’m gonna like her. Big upgrade from my TerraTrike Rover.

Why add old components to a new frame? Why not just go with a new trike.

Most of the components are not as old as the frame. Sylvia has made many upgrades over the years, many of them in recent years. Some components, like the Rohloff Speedhub and the Son Nabendyno generator hub will last for many, many years and tens or even hundreds of thousands of miles if cared for adequately.
