Sadly too many people buy these dogs because they have pretty eyes and pretty spots with no knowledge of how much work they are. Then they end up rehoming the dog. Also they have a very large PSI.. any dog with a large PSI is a weapon, not a pet.

The high psi is due to the point of the canine tooth denting the gauge.. jaw strength of these can't be greater than my upper body let alone legs Imagine lifting 200lbs for example

They do not get along well with other dogs. I have had several (and still have) and my consistence experience has convinced me of the contrary of what is said in this regard in this summary: they can easily try to kill another dog that vies for dominance or dares to threaten them. They are phenomenal guard dogs, but even then one has to be careful: they will attack, not threaten.

They don’t heard but everything else is accurate. Thanks for saying they don’t need to guard but will need stimulus if they’re not guarding. So true.

My Presa was properly socialized and trained since a pup. We exercise and stimulate daily with puzzles and sniff work. He runs alongside our bike and loves it. That’s the key to zero destruction. We can leave him alone in a vacation home for hours and he would never destroy a thing. Never needed a crate either. He knows how he’s supposed to behave and we take care of his needs. He’s also extremely friendly and has high socialization needs, loves car rides and going out to places. He absolutely lives for having guests over, he can barely contain his joy for them and brings them his bones as gifts. Seems above playing fetch and most games, that’s too simple for him. My Bernese doesn’t care for strangers but my Presa loves to say hi to everyone. He instinctively knows when he needs to protect. Had a homeless man attempt to approach me from behind and my boy got in between us and start scratching up the ground and snorting like a bull, it was wild. Was about to annihilate the guy but obeyed my recall. He was then on a mission to take me back to Dad & safety, he was navigating me back like my bodyguard to where our car was parked on streets he never been on, directional awareness was on point. Intelligence is next level too, like mind blowing how he would manipulate our other dogs. He’ll go outside and pretend there’s someone there that he’s barking at which tricks my other dog to run out to check, then he quickly swoops in to steal their bone while they’re distracted. My friends say he’s more like a human than dog, he has an undeniable presence & desire to connect with you. Blown away by this breed, but definitely not for the faint of heart. He’s a full time job, very demanding and needy for affection and attention, although he’s pretty good at leaving us alone to work. He spends that time in his window bed watching the front yard. It’s truly been the biggest blessing and honor to have him. My advice- Only get one if you plan to learn dog psychology and have the time to train yourself and put into them the exercise they need every damn day. One of the most serious commitments you can make. Otherwise it could be very dangerous.

The calmest of the sight hounds. Ran one on my local beach with two Salukis, two Borzoi, and an exuberant Afghan many times. I would let them pace, with nodded permission from the jockey, with local trotting horse trainers on the hard sand. Mostly, but not always the Salukis came back with the horse first, understanably, then the Deerhound and the male Borzoi, followed by the crazy Afghan and the female Borzoi. But not by too much! Great dogs, big hearts, definitely have stamina to burn. The length of leg and the ease of their lope make the Deerhound a formidable hunting dog. Not as explosive as the Borzoi or the much lighter Saluki and lacking the Saluki's endurance, their agility was awesome! Only the crazy Afghan could keep up with him in play. Supple spines.

There’s so many thing’s wrong with this analysis of the presa canario on this post that it makes me sick. I’m an advocate for this breed and and the dogo argentino and own multiple’s of each of these breeds! The fact that people google research and then become KZbin video makers about thing’s like this makes me sick to my stomach!

We had a female Cairn Terrier and she was a wonderful dog that we loved very much and she gave us more love than I can even explain. She lived to a ripe old age of 14 1/2 but she did develop health problems starting about 12 years old. But we would not trade those years with her for anything in the world. What a dog!!

You have to ask yourself whether you would like to be pitted against someone in a fight to the death where you'd end up being at least maimed ? No-one in they're right mind would, neither should it be inflicted on animals. Breeding aggressive animals is abusive to EVERYONE concerned including the said animals
@Sarahyoutubeaddict

It should be enough that a dog looks vicious without being so Most dogs will naturally defend their owners if they have to eg home invasion. 🏡 You want a dog that KNOWS when someone's actually a threat or not, not a dog that's aggressive 24/7 & has a high possibility of attacking their owner especially if they're abused , which includes poor or abusive "training".

Dobermann's are meant to have a little Great Dane in their DNA, I always think my Euro Dobe reminds me a little of a Great Dane. The Great Dane looks a bit gangling and clumsy on it's feet though, but the Doberman is extremely agile, and very fast, even though they share similar looking body types.

@@kinglenry1236 So the pitbull has a lower bite force by 3psi, from just your post? I have read anywhere from a 2 to 20psi greater bite force for the GSD. So, you confirmed that I am indeed correct.

I don’t know if your average pit is stronger than your average GSD, with that stated, idk if a GSD would win against a fully trained game pit. A kangle would eat em both tho.

Why do people keep making videos about dogs when they don't know a damn thing about dogs the only study done on dog bite force came to the conclusion head size will determine bite force which would mean the English Mastiff would have the greatest of all bite forces since males are normally between 220 to 280lbs also theyre not even considering the predator load the dog was bred to deal with kangals dealt with bears and wolves but boerboels dealt with Lion prides hyena clans wild dogs and baboons they have a much greater predator load to deal with. And boerboel are almost the size of a small English Mastiff about 160 to 200lbs.
