@3d-illusions
@3d-illusions 16 күн бұрын
@@Koshisimsofficial Turbo Tools has a Turbo Render feature which is an advanced denoiser and automatic sample setup, and then it has a publishing system which has a temporal stabiliser to remove flicker in post production (after you've rendered). Check out this video to see all main features: kzbin.info/www/bejne/sHalnHakrdppiLssi=I6s9oQylg2OmZaCB and this video to see the temporal stabilisation settings: kzbin.info/www/bejne/inW6l6JvfLataMUsi=ak88UnusbWNj1ahk Just note that the denoising can take a little longer than the denoisers in the render panel until the Blender developers release GPU denoising in the compositor, but I include a Blender 4.4 build that has gpu compositor denoising. You can find that in the quick start guide. For more normal speed renders the additional denoising is usually far less than the render time saved, so sticking with CPU denoising is not an issue in that case.

Amazing! Is it only on 4.3 though? Because I saw that 4.2 already has that GPU mode in the compositor, which greatly reduces the time to remove temporal flicker as you've shown in one of your previous videos. But when I used it for rendering denoising, it actually took more time than using the CPU denoiser.
@3d-illusions
@3d-illusions Ай бұрын
yeah the GPU compositor is different to the GPU denoiser in the compositor. Blender's GPU compositor makes all the standard nodes GPU accelerated, but should only be used when there are sufficient nodes to warrant it, otherwise the time to transfer data to VRAM will actually slow down the compositor's overall execution time. The GPU denoiser in the compositor is just the denoise node, and should be available when the compositor is in GPU mode and CPU mode.

@3d-illusions
@3d-illusions Ай бұрын
Thanks. Stretching is where the object was out of view of the camera. There is no colour data, so the last visible colour extends to the back point. Smoothing will help reduce it, and also setting the back shape to 0.99 will fix it completely because the model will end where their is no visibility in the photo. Alternatively it's easily fixed after converting to mesh, either in sculpt mode or texture painting. You can use the model for whatever you want, the usual steps of preparing the model for game engines will apply 👍

I noticed some people getting in a flap on social media about this addon. So just in case anyone here gets the wrong idea, this doesn't steal work from people, and wasn't trained on other people's 3d models. It's an AI accelerated monocular depth based model generation system. Depth based modelling has been around for decades. The only thing the AI is doing here is speeding up the generation of much better depth maps. The real power is the addon's post depth generation suite of tools. They give the artist control over the end result by allowing them to create something beyond the constraints of the generated depth map, or just save them a ton of manual labour when they want an exact match of the original image. In other words, this is a tool to help artists (like myself), not replace them 👍
