Greg Lake threw me on this version by rearranging the verses. If you listen to the original (and read the lyrics) you'll catch that. I'm not sure if he just did that or not. Either way, it was truly remarkable to see this done right in front of you! Keith Emerson was amazingly gifted. Greg Lake was beautifully creative and Carl Palmer? Wow! You should see THAT drum solo! Bad ass! He was, on occasions, a "double bass'er" and that, my friends, takes some serious coordination to pull off! I've seen them twice, myself. One of those, they opened for Jethro Tull for Tull's 25 anniversary. As much as I like them too, I have to say that, that night ELP put them to shame! The second was for Black Moon and that was unusual because they played on a huge merry go round, divided into thirds that rotated. Neither could see what the others were doing! How cool us that?! I miss them. And..now they're gone. I was privileged to be able to see that. A memory I'll always have..
