Considering using Pack Rat for Austin to Arizona. Were you charged any unexpected additional charges not mentioned in the initial estimate? Would also be curious why you didn’t go with PODS. I have estimates from both companies and still not sure who to choose.

I got estimates from both Pack Rat and PODS and Pack Rat not only bet PODS quote but they gave less quote then PODS. Second reason is container size was better than PODS. That's why I went with them. I did not get charged any unexpected additional or hidden charges. They were transparent and open in all the fees. Beside calls everything was in emails and clear invoices. No hidden or surcharge fees for me. They attended all my calls during business hours.

Hello! Great video! Did you get any hidden fees? I've heard sometimes they charge you a gasoline fee, or something like that... or you were charged as you expected?

When I started to with work with them I did online research and also heard about some hidden fees and gas fees by some transportation and container services. So I discussed with them on phone regarding payments, fees and rates for each and every item. I always asked to email me the quote which I discussed. After reading and understanding the quote and confirming that no hidden fees and it matches 100% exactly what they promised me then only I confirmed my order and made my first payment. I clearly got what I was promised for without any hidden charges. Be wise and please ask all the questions you can think of and always ask them to email you the quote which you discussed with them.
