Being a owner operator just isn’t worth it anymore. I sold my truck and trailer two years ago made a nice profit went back to being a mechanic being an owner operator is high risk so you should get high reward or it’s not worth it. You get into one little fender bender, and the insurance goes crazy and then out of business. It just doesn’t make sense anymore

I Absolutely agree. I made more money as an owner operator but I had more expenses. It was a great experience but it didn't make sense to me once I had my daughter I'm with a union trucking company now with full benefits and pension holiday pay sick pay and vacation pay when you add in the value of the benefits it is a solid gig. Plus I get to drive a brand new truck everyday. Can't beat it unless you're one of those really well connected owner operators with direct contracts like the cattle haulers they hand over the paperwork and they get a check right then and there.

The ECM power fuse is in the battery box .Once helped a friend 150 miles from home on Christmas, no parts available . Strapped a wheel barrel style air compressor to the frame rails and attached air line . Carry a spare alternator with pulley and belt . Glad you got moving !

never heard of backing off the outer fitting on the hose after bottoming out to the hose, it is supposed to fit on the bottom at the hose edge

You should look for trailers on your routes and stop while on a load to check out in person.

Its not the same trailer more than likely regardless of the written number on the front. Auto dealers do this all the time. They usually put in small print that its not the exact item for sale but a look alike. This place obviously was trying to catfish people down to the dealer. Not so much a scam as it is a waste of time. Thats the disrespectful part.
