@trainsandbusesinengland what you think of the omideckers and olympus I quite like those too will be bit sad to see them go. The b5tls are nice as sad not sure if they entirely suitable tho. They both had extended periods off road last year. B8ls and the mmcs are more suited tbh

@@declanmarsh7398 I have a soft spot for the omnidekkas as I grew up with them, for the Olympuses, they're honestly not that bad even though I had some bad experiences with them on the X44. Will be quite sad to see them suffer the same fate as the gemini 1 Db250s and Lowlander db250s.

For the yellow, no but for the purple i can see it working out. The reason I say no for yellow is because X29 would drain the charge of an electroliner quickly (so would 28 tbf). Purple line routes aren't too too long so yeah

@@cazz3130 Turquoise has had the odd electroliner these past few days but bustimes.org said they didn't last very long, for the 29 I think electroliners could operate that route but i haven't done that route in ages so i forgot how long it is

@@cazz3130 I mean X29 is about 27 miles, but electroliners have been used on purple and turquoise line before, so it isn't totally impossible. But im pretty sure that X29 is longer than green line.

If you're talking about that bell-ringing sound, that just happens on some electroliners if not all of them, no clue what it means though

Im yet to hear these announcements in person but I'll see how annoying they are on the weekend

Whilst I don't mind them it's pretty boring seeing same buses all the time. Plus sad seeing all old classic b7rles and b7tls be retired and b9s cascaded off elsewhere

I prefer the electroliners, they're better for the planet. Also, they don't sound that bad from the inside. Not like the rattling diesel types 🤣
