This was the simplest video yet. Although my "describe" produced error functions. Is that because I don't have any packages outside of those already preloaded?

I appreciate you taking the time to walk me through the process as a newbie to R programming, and I am glad that you recently gained a subscriber. However, I do have a few questions. On my PC, I attempted both mean(trees) and detach(trees), but neither method produced an error. Please assist.

6:30 is Albert Pujols not Rolen. Thanks for the effort in putting this together. Want to clarify something though, the goal of hitting is not to hit a HR everytime- the goal is to hit it on the barrel as hard as you can and if it's a nuke, great. If the ball is pitched on the lowest strike-zone spot on the outside corner, as a RH hitter, barreling this pitch means you are probably lining a ball to RF. Reason is that if you try and pull an outside pitch, you'll cap it and hit it off the end of the bat outside of the sweet spot.

This is great. Question: I tried this for the nfl but there are zero-win and zero-loss teams. Would you add a constant, say 0.5, to the log win ratio? You get an error otherwise. Thank you!!
@PipingFavorites9 ай бұрын
Adding a constant is a good solution but I would use an even smaller constant like 0.1

Hi Herb, Thank you for your video that has greatly helped me, as a new user of R studio, to make sense of the interface and how generally the system works. One question I have is this: is the 'Psych' package the best one for doing general data analysis in a scientific (electrical engineering) context? I would want to run a 'paired T-Test', 'ANOVA', 'HSD Test' and 'Correlation Analysis' on a set of recorded values of say power outputs against supply voltage. Maybe there is a package better suited to this type of work? Thanks, Julian

This is Superb. I cant thank you enough you for this walkthrough. It is crucial to understand well the interface before exploring any tool. From my experience, the rule of thumb is before jumping in the road, first get to understand the car's dashboard and it can save you from frustration and pain! Keep it up!
