Does anyone know why they used to paint over such beautiful bricks in the first place?
@Andyjones__Ай бұрын
Usually because the wall is leaking because it needs repointing so it keeps the water out. Or they just don’t have any taste

Are you using any acid?
@aberdeenflyers74413 ай бұрын
you should have Leftfield blasting from the stereo while doing this :p How do you get the last bits out? Will this harm 120 year old limestone walls? The latex paint is on thick!

Is this just water or are you using soap with this? I can’t seem to get some of the algae off the jumping mat portion of the trampoline even with a pressure washer

Really good video, looks amazing. I have a Thermatech with the red hoses but these always leave red marks. Do you have this problem at all ? If so, do you know which are the best non marking hoses to buy which can handle the temperature ? Thanks. I like the presentation o the video.

Painting brick can also help to seal the brick up so the brick does not take in any moisture .
@Fredthegod199015 күн бұрын
Problem is you would need a perfect seal like waterproofing systems which traditional painting alone wont achieve. You end up with water between the paint and brick with the porous brick not being able to properly dry. That’s why when foundations are waterproofed, there is usually multiple membrane layers applied with several layers of silicone.

How much diesel does it use? My hot box is used between £50/£60 at 150c over 5/6hrs. Also what chemical is that? I’ve only done small/medium paint stripping projects, I usually use a Dichloromethane based product, but I’m trying to move away from it if I can.

I hope someone reads this message. IA. I have a home with painted bricks. I tried removing the paint myself, but it didn't work. They used the primer and then 3 layers of paint. Will this process work to remove the paint?

I agree with your question. Id hate to live next door! Yes we can see that in the video, that no care has been given to seal off the,area, b4 releasing strong toxic chemicals, and likely lead- based paint particals into the air to be injested by home owners, neighbours, in fact anyone, from there it gets into the soil, the water course, and eventually our food chain. Note inadequare sealing off, around this site, - Its bad practice full stop.

Do you know of a company in Philadelphia, PA in the USA?
@dunebuggy12862 жыл бұрын
Here in America they till you to never power wash brick. Never sandblast brick. But what about soda blasting? I would think that would work. But you guys did an excellent job I think. Now will you come back and seal it with something?
@feelthepressureuk1987 Жыл бұрын
It’s not power washing it’s low pressure high temperature it looks like power washing but trust me the psi is low as little as 50 bar causes no damage to the brickwork at all so it will not need to be sold the face of the brick is completely intact
