@@PaulOamen Meacham - FTW - Runways 16/34 and 17/35. Capt Paul, I would not have taken more of your time but I can’t help asking. 1. Parallel runways that are not really parallel - isn’t that odd? I mean, I see they are a good distance apart maybe 16/34 for military and 17/35 (shorter) for GA? 2. Are you saying you got your Private there also? I mean, your only training was start to finish at Meacham? BTW I was born and grew up in Waco. It’s all I ever knew until California, Hawaii, Guam and then Oregon. Captain, how are you and your family? We were both pilots and chatted about 4 years ago. Glad to hear your voice again. Listen, I had a great idea. You are so good at this you could completely write a left and right pair of Garmin 1000's. That way I could simply learn to fly a glass cockpit 172 from my tablet. Let me know when you finish that project. LOL Truthfully, I have been playing with the 1000 in my XBOX FLIGHT SIM. Xbox don't fly exactly like the real thing but I can learn about the Garmin protocol. In my years of flying, Garmin had not been invented yet. I am 75 now and could not pass a Class Three if I had too so the XBOX is my 737 nowadays. Great chat sir - I will always watch anything you put up. Subscribed just now, hope to hear a lot of C#.
