I'm looking to get this for my wild mustangs. Durability wise I'm not concerned, but is there a chance that the horse could rear up and get it's hoof stuck in the gap between the panels? Is there something I can put on the top to prevent this?

I had some 500lb yearlings drag them aswell only way they will be sturdy is when you got a pile of them hooked together and hooked to your shoot so it’s heavy

It’s very helpful if you have more than a couple horses. Keeping them conditioned isn’t easy and with this you’re able to walk/run more than 5 at a time. Plus when you have an injured horse you usually don’t want weight on its back so you can give it exercise without having to ride

Headgates have come a long way over the years. Grew up in SE Oklahoma and remember using Tribbey Headgates in 1970's. Locally manufactured by Mr. Tribbey in Idabel, Oklahoma. They became a mainstay for cattlemen for years. Still come across one every now and then.
