I truly miss old-school Grinspoon - TKaSP was sooo commercial and emo, it was gross feeling, after the 'Spoon built an identity on hard Aussie pub rock... The kind of rock you'd expect to hear in the Hell's Angels - Melbourne clubhouse.... But then, TKaSP... :'( GODS, how I miss Sickfest, Butcher, NBT, Post Enebriated Anxiety, DC3x, Overdriver, Yarni Marni, Dial Tone, etc... Btw, Joe Hansen is the second reason I picked up Bass (the first reason being my uncle, who was the first one to play bass for me when I was knee high to a grasshopper).... <3

"Oldest perfectly preserved in Adelaide"? Inaccurate. Carrick Hill was built in the 1930s. There are several older. Ayers House (sadly not operating the museum at present), fingers crossed, 1800s. Others include Urrbrae House, 1800s; Cummins House, 1800s; Kingston House 1800s; Carclew 1800s; the Cedars early 1900s I think and Martindale Hall 1800s, although not in the city - Mintaro, SA mid north. But as you can see, Carrick Hill is definitely not the oldest house in Adelaide. Just another example of unprofessional interviewing and not doing justice to the history of Adelaide. The whole interview was not really taken seriously at all by either, and why not? Richard Heathcote has an important role to play and the current edition of his book on Carrick Hill is out now, so really this should be done a lot better.

This is so awkward, unprofessional, the flirting. I feel so sorry for his wife. She must be so tolerant!! Does not do justice to the history!! Wouldn't it be wonderful if this house could house homeless people - and actually be put to good use! And keep the snobs and pretentious creeps away (hopefully)
