... this feeling. it reminds me of the nights I spent on rooftops throughout the Americas. it reminds me... of the times I was truly, 100% offline. I would sit and stare off at the horizons. the stars. and just wonder in awe... ...this reminds me... that I wasn't the only one who felt things like this on a daily basis.

@@KGB.Official i remember constantly seeing lain in references, but i hadn't watched anime in years (i liked watching anime when i was 11-12ish in 2017) but i thought sel seemed interesting enough to check out so september 2023 (i was 17) i watched it i don't think i've ever resonated with something as much as lain. the entirety of it. being surrounded by technology at a young age. being a shut in. being so lonely. being so quiet. i wanted everything and nothing so much, both at the same time. i know it's a little silly to say, but sometimes i feel like i am her, or at least similar. lain really did open my eyes, for the first time in forever. let's all love lain, okay? we'll never forget her.

@@etherealbliss The pandemic swept up every relationship I had. Now, the only social life I have is on here and I hate it sometimes. I feel so numb to everything now. I view lain as a warning rather than anything else. A warning of what you can become if you let the internet make you its puppet. Stay safe
