What do you mean by facets? Are you meaning that the knife had different flat spots? I’m just curious because I’ve been having issues with weird spots showing up on my knives when I hand sand them with higher grift paper and it didn’t click until now that the issue might be because my bevels aren’t flat.

@evaderknives4 ай бұрын
This is 3/16" I have a lot of videos where I explain marking centerline. With 3/16 I usually break it into 3rds, leaving the center a bit thicker. Look for grinding preheat bevels. Good luck, I think I even have a video or 2 on a 1x30.

My experiments with my blades for 1084 show that canola oil is kind of on the border, but I will do more experiments of my own using your Canola Fast Quench recipe, mixing the brine, canola and soap dish. Very nice video on your channel, I really enjoyed it. Your channel has total 5.88k members, 955,844 total views, and 717 total uploaded videos. One thing I noticed is that according to your channel, your channel videos are not watched and subscribed. You need to optimize your channel and do video SEO to reach your target audience. Otherwise, if you upload videos to your channel throughout the year, none of your videos will go viral. If your channel is a bit optimized and the videos are SEO then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. As a professional digital marketer, I want to help you. Let's discuss your channel I look forward to your response

great vid, got a chef knife that warped and this vid is exactly what I need to straighten it. Hope you can continue to make these videos in the future.
@evaderknives8 ай бұрын
1st, I would try taking a piece of flat steel(I use 1/4" mild), put something on each end(under the knife, I use washers or another piece of steel) & clamp at the warp(hump up). Go past straight just a little bit & temper again for 2 hours. let it cool & check. That usually works, but if not this is effective too.
