Are the lights really too bright. Have you taken the bird out of the hanger and oriented it so the sun is shining on the panel then seen if the lights are too bright? Perhaps a dimmer rheostat?

If someone gets out of the back seat seems like they can get tangled in those lines. I don't know much about these haven't been watching every video need to catch up.

I'm building a Legal Eagle XL, bought a half VW with the tiny tach - the battery was needing to be replaced, I was about to go ahead & order a new one, but thanks to you - I'll try this first... Who knows, I may have to make a video as well on it... Very helpful... Good luck with the 1000 ( I'm number 693) - I just hit 1k myself on my channel - I don't understand, but I keep sharing anyways...

Great update. We have had some beautiful flying weather here and its super dry. time change comes this weekend which sucks. Hopefully my check ride is this Saturday and I can start flying passengers. Western North Carolina and the mountains in Virginia have gotten snow already here. lets see that baby taxi at least before your locked int the hangar with snow drifts lol

Hi Peter. I enjoy your videos so keep them coming. I noticed that some of your switches seem quite tiny. Given the cold clear days common to those Manitoba winters have you given any consideration to how you will manage their functionality while wearing a warm pair of mitts or gloves?

Have you ever changed from floats to wheels? How did you support the gear to take the floats and swap in the wheels?

did you do a linear actuator for your flaps/trim?

personally, I would have countersunk those bolts or just riveted that bracket.. Those eye bolts seem really big and long. I also would have made some kind of tensioner pulley system that always keeps the cable taut. U need wireless mics. U got way too much static when using just your gopro mic or whatever camera you are using.

Tiny tach crap. They couldn’t have put a door to replace battery. Oh yes planned obsolescence I get it. I will never buy another one of these stupid tachs

I’m in the process of building a single seat Challenger ultralight from a kit. I’m nearing the two year mark since I began this adventure and have been extremely fortunate to be working under the guidance of Greg Klemp(Mr. Challenger). He has a wealth of knowledge(and patience with me !) which is priceless since this is my first foray into building. Your successes(and a few false starts) have been invaluable.
