Will Migration work from previous 2017 install to a new 2017 install? I have 2017 installed to a partition with a corrupted macOS. I’ve created a brand new partition with the same OS, and installed 2017 onto it. I see all my vW data on the corrupted drive partition. Can I migrate that custom data to my replacement install of the same 2017?

What I find find frustrating with this program is that one must use a combination of functions to achieve one thing. For example, creating a site modifier and then knowing to use it in combination with the "send to surface" command. How is one to know the combination of these two commands. It must be made more intuitive, less cryptic.

It seems as though these plants can not be easily converted to standard VW 'Plant' objects, and the Laubwerk object type has a 2D display that is not useful at all?

The Place Camera Object within the viewport Annotations space didn't work. The camera match object was way off from the axonometric view and a message said that I can't move the camera match object.

How do you select the point cloud to change the color? When I click on the point cloud, the bounding box that I see on your screen that is orange, is not orange when I click on it. It remains grey/white. Also, on side of your screen under "object info", my object info says "Document Record Format Defaults". Is there possibly another step not shown in your video to be able to select the point cloud so that you can toggle the enhancements?

What awards ceremony would you ever use this for? Deck is too narrow and way too high for a standard Ballroom. If you are saying this is basic be basic. This is a big ticket project. Not a Basic response for a low to mid budget Corporate Client.

Why is it that in the german version of the software you are not allowed to control or assign a pitched roof to buildings made out of "irregular" shapes (not rectangles), while in the US version is been a feature since so long ago?

I want this software

This looks nice, but I've seen a lot of users (including me) are having quite a lot of performance issues because of this function. I had to delete the generative plug-in to keep using Vectorworks properly. So no AI for me at the moment =/ hope can be improved in the future.

Might add that the hardscape layer must be selected inside the Site model settings, for the drape function to work
