It’s pretty funny to me how the rear license plate zoom-in on the original Japanese version of Purple Meteor’s introduction sequence is supposed to highlight that he has a Shinagawa-number glow plate (which i believe is exclusive to this rival car in the game). Having a standard issue California plate for the US version kinda takes away the whole dramatic presence, i’ll admit.

WOW! That is a lot of playing hours in that game to be able to use the best rival cars. My favorite rival car is the 13 Devils Dreaming Wraith NSX-R NA2 (pretty cool car in the game's opening)
