Did you ever have to do a Safety accent to avoid Lung over expansion? Or did you just go straight up after? I’ve been told to always do those past 15 - 30 Feet of Depth.

Yeah I was wondering when we were going to commiserate on Alabama and UT not making it all the way this year :(
@carloslovesmandy2485 ай бұрын
@@SailingSymphony I was surprised Washington got by UT. They looked good all year. I was more surprised that Bama made it to ATL and beat Georgia. College football is gonna look way different next year. With Saban gone, I might get back into atv'ing and start a mudvlog channel on youtube. Lol

What does guardianage cost? Monthly? Percentage of work done? Interested for a budget. Seems well worth it. ALSO- I watch Wind Therapy. Jeff is awesome and I love watching them.
@SailingSymphony6 ай бұрын
It was $50US each time Jaco checked the boat, ended up being around $700 for 4 and a half months. Well worth it, I was able to ping him when I needed stuff done and it got done. And yes Jeff is a riot, we just left them in Saint Lucia and sadly won’t be getting together again till this fall in Annapolis. But then I think we’ll be sailing with them down to the Bahamas for the next season.
@Boody5236 ай бұрын
Wow that is a lot going wrong at once, you sure did have a good attitude about it, and just rolled with it. I had same problem with inverter and now have a spare 3000 on board lol.
@SailingSymphony6 ай бұрын
I saw one for sale in Martinique after we got it fixed and I was tempted to buy it, just in case! Curious if there is a way to rig up 2 3000k inverters, that way at least you’d have some redundancy.

Wow I am amazed at your patience and ability to press on. I would love to understand your skill sets as I ponder to enter into the Cruising world! 👊🏼
@SailingSymphony6 ай бұрын
Oh man, I have NO special skills for this, all learned along the way. I knew some basics of how things worked. You'd be surprised at how fast you pick up plumbing, electrical, and engine knowledge from others. I don't kn ow about the patience stuff, there was a lot of cussing off-camera!
@tonyfromaus78556 ай бұрын
Aw mate it ain’t all roses is it. Bugger. But you guys have the right attitude and I’m sure that all will be ship shape on board Symphony soon… if it isn’t already. 👍🏼 Thanks so much for sharing the journey with us. Please don’t be afraid to let the camera linger on those trouble area close ups. I feel like I’m taking an armchair captain course watching and imagining I’m doing it too. I figure if one hour of actual experience equals about 100 hours of armchair observing, then I’ve only got about another fifty years of training before I’m all set to go. 😁 Sincere thanks for your generosity sharing your adventures with us. Fair winds.
@SailingSymphony6 ай бұрын
'ain't all roses' is a good way to put it! But it seems to work out in the end most days. I'll keep trying to be informative, I've got a few ideas for videos explaining the things that we didn't know when we set sail.

@chasing28526 ай бұрын
Well, Todd and Erin, that all sucks, but you are in good company. We began our season spending two extra months in Florida in fix mode with one thing after another, with the highlight being an engine rebuild! Yup, big money spending start to our boating season. That said, we have finally made it to Great Harbour, via Bimini. We talked about you guys as we left Miami and arrived at Browns Marina. Lots of water under the keel since we first share that experience! I hope that you are fixed and underway and thanks for sharing the beginning of your new season. Hi to the boys from us! Cheers, J.
