What’s funny is you aren’t wrong. Many different parts of the Yandere simulator code are done in “If” statements, like when Yandere Chan walks it’s an if statement, picking up, opening, attacks, all of it is in “If, else” format. That’s what makes his code so buggy and so terrible to mod, alongside why the game is so laggy. Even his custom mode coding you can do in just a notepad is an “if, else”. If you edit an event file, it will play your event. If you didn’t, it will play the normal event. Trust me, labels are gonna save you from falling into that same thing he had problems with (Including optimization!)

I'm definitely not a coding expert, but I feel a bit better when I look at yandere dev's code...

I have one idea that could be big event that young master calls his friends but as a butler you have in that small or big event stop even his friends from suspicions because it could hurt the young master that they fear him or they will the the young master that his house is haunted or something… Next idea of bonding event could be some “mini game” like small hide and seek or tag… and as a butler you have to hide that way he will have fun finding you but as well as hiding that way you won’t hide where are some monsters of something… (but this one is little too complicated and complex so I know it’s not realistic (just take inspiration)) And last idea is when the young master the wakes up middle of the night and you only have candle so you have to find him in the big mansion before someone else (and it will change depending on the play though or randomness…) Will these are just some random ideas I had so go ahead use them or something idk… (actually you inspired me to create my game and now I am watching this in middle of creating small dress up game…)

the second idea was the best maybe have the player hold a journal to cross reference past threats to find the new ones faster and if you royally screw up the reapers insult you for being trash also reference Alois Trancy an Luca Macken from Black Butler anime but ya know far less suffering it would be adorable trying to keep children safe all day an night

Another fun title Idea “The Butler of Higginbottom Manor” lol. Also it a fun idea with some bonding events be mini games like a game of chess, but u lose on purpose, or a game of hide and seek where u fine the young master
