I did everything as discribed and the quest appeared in Eye of Azshara. The boss was there when I got there. I killed the boss and what I got was Hungering Claw companion. The mount did not drop. I do have world quests unlocked. I did notice that the boss was there before I clicked on the last orb. Good luck!

This took me exactly one month! You can only do it once per char per week, so between my five level 70's, and five seperate maintenance weeks, it took 25 tries to get! Cray cray RNG!

@ other easy mounts are Otto and Magmashell ((as a hunter pop turtle and you can survive being in the lava)

Otto requires quite a low of coin fishing I believe, so it's a bit time consuming.

As a mount collector, I can.sum mine up as 3 1/2 hours on Time Lost (super lucky) & 3 1/2 months camping Aoenaxx....I know your pain 😅

That was really super lucky on time lost! I remember seeing him once back in Wrath, my addon pops up telling me he's around, I get all excited but... turns out it was just his corpse on the ground :D

I love this mount, I got it shortly before dragonflight came out, I had just come back to the game. I had so much trouble running the stupid maze correctly and took me far longer than it should have but I still use this mount all the time. Now I have to go back and try to get the rest of them. I love this model. This is BY FAR the best guide I have seen and I had watched them all. I wish this had been out back when I got this!
