Sgt. (Lamoe) Morris , U.S.M.C. 1967 /71, ChuLai R.S.V.N. 1968 Crayons Yes, Marines do eat our crayons when we're done writing Purple is my favorite flavor I never eat the brown or yellow Those I save for the other branches Grateful Americans should grateful they have people like us to protect them from people like us Those who serve Only those who've had the courage to insure the freedom of strangers can truly comprehend its meaning and appreciate its value Honor always, those willing to sacrifice their tomorrows for your today Those who wait That day might be today That day you've dreaded That day you learn your loved one is coming home that final time Those of us who served our country insuring the freedom of strangers had it somewhat easier than those who wait. We knew what was happening. Those who wait can only watch the door and pray that today is not that day. On Veterans and Memorial days be sure to honor those who wait. In so many ways theirs it the greater sacrifice. Those who returned From those whose names are etched on the Wall To those who made it home and now stand tall We say to you who tried to make us feel small FU, It was for you also we answered the call Honor always, those who did sacrifice their tomorrows for your today. The little old man on the bench There he sits, that little old man Everyday he sits on the park bench, eyes closed, mumbling to himself. Very few passersby wonder, is he well? Does he need help? No one stops to ask. Most ignore the little old man on the bench, he is of no significance in their lives. There was a time, so long ago, in his new uniform, he stood tall, strong, hale, and hearty. There was a time, so long ago, he laid broken on a field far, far, from home There was a time, so long ago, his brothers sacrificed to insure "no one gets left behind" There was a time, so long ago, he lay in a hospital with other broken men waiting to go home Today, he sits on that park bench as he does every day Today, he does not need help, he is well, he is not talking in his sleep Today, he pays no attention to those to whom he is of no significance Today, he speaks the names of those who sacrificed their tomorrows so they will not be forgotten. Tomorrow, he will not be sitting on the bench Tomorrow, few will even notice he is not there Tomorrow, there will be one less to remember the names of their fallen brothers Tomorrow, the sacrifices of he and his brothers will be forgotten Soon, another young man, in his new uniform, will stand tall, strong, hale, and hearty. Soon, he will lie broken on a field in a country far, far from home Soon, others will sacrifice their tomorrows to bring him home Soon, their sacrifices will also be forgotten Why? I've often been asked "why did you join the Marines"? One time I did answer a civilian honestly. "I wanted to find out if I could shoot someone when I didn't have to". Response was on the order of "you're crazy". Never told them the truth again. Combat PTSD For most, it is not a problem For many, it is, due to what we experienced. For some, it is, due to what we were allowed to do. For a few, it is, due to enjoying what we were allowed to do

I'm Diné-Navajo Tewa. Proud daughter of the laye John Brown. Jr. 1 of the 1st 29 Navajo Code Talkers WWII. Both my late daddy and I are boarding school survivors. His experience was far more abusive than mine. Dawes roll is fraudulent to steal more land. Both white and African American Wabos and pretendians are hateful jealous prejudice with culture appropriation while erasing indigenous Native American Indian people. BIA. Gov proves you're tribes. 574 federally recognized tribes along with treaties is protected from fraud. Genealogy and dna(which only tells you if you are indigenous Native) Both can help figure out which tribe you could be enrolled. Then learn the culture, Language etc. Rez life isn't easy as it was designed for continual genocide. Being an indigenous Native is not a fad. We have thousands of children stolen from us, adopted out and truly finding out by dna they are Native. They are coming home and people that fraudulently claim tribes is wrong. We have always been here and we still are here to teach our lost relatives. Honesty is preferred. Pretendians out there need to stop the misinformation and lies they are spreading. This StolenLand, stolen children stolen knowledge caused by colonizers needs acknowledged.

Bottom line I enjoyed myself being in the United States Marine Corps and wanted to continue my career in Navy and in the army but I was diminished because of the lies that were put that were placed upon me because of racism because of me having a relationship with Kenny Rogers daughter which was the 18-year-old Caucasian girl at the time and so was I and he told me that he was going to get me and use a colonel judge to arrest me for false charges play another time I was naive and young and I didn't know what to do about it. He was wrong the judge was wrong being the colonel and he should be had been reprimanded for that Kenny Rogers she live in recommended for that can I pay the price for nothing it was given the discharge that I was given for nothing. The hell with those ignorant and devilish people but it's in spite that I was proud to be a Marine

That will falsely accused of the dishes lies and conjectures because of people such as Gunny water and the colonel which was his friend that had me go to the break for nothing because they were friends to hell with them and hopefully by now that dead and gone but they do not deserve to have been given the accolades in the wars of money that they've been given because they had subjugated and did a lot of people of colors wrong racially wrong

Most of the better people that have ever met in my life were not of my nationality were from other nationalities besides myself particularly the Caucasian or white race. They had became my best friends in the world. But there were also a great many that were over me that had became a horrific enemy Meijer swindlers deviance particularly the officers above me from the rank of Sergeant up to Colonel. And did not deserve to be listen to follow behind or respected they were racial deviance.

My name is Isaac James shorter a former US Marine station for the foremost at Quantico Virginia for the tenure of my Enlistment and I 100% had believed in the camaraderie Brotherhood in the belief of the United States Marine Corps corpse and other American military services alike. But the Marine Corps to me was a very special and unique place to be as far as I was concerned it was the best of the best in the tip of the spear. But what I found during the time that I was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps period was that. It was inherently blatant with racism from the highest echelons to the lowest. Not saying that I hadn't come across people of other nationalities that what beautiful human beings and wonderful people in spite of where they may have come from a grown up at. There were a numerous Mini white Marines if that's the term I could use that were highly devious racist to the Core. But despite that I had found that there were many people of other cultures and nationalities that were very beautiful comrades and spirits. I eat beautiful people. That in spite of what nationality you came from Baywood down to earth and morsel brotherly did the race and culture that I came from. African-American. But besides that they were a tremendous amount of Caucasian all white individuals regardless of their rank or status that were heavily racist and prejudiced towards Prejudice towards people of color particularly blacks. African-Americans and we paid a tremendous price for that regardless of our participation in the Marine Corps. And it was not dealt with to the degree that it should have been dealt with period to eradicate the prolific ugliness and racism that cremated the Marine corpse ethos. And a great many African-American individuals paid and a horrendous price because of that type of racism and diminishing of our abilities to participate wholeheartedly and consistently in the Marine Corps in this period was doing all of my tenure in the Marine Corps I suffered a horrendous unnecessary cost because bigotry and racism. Therefore myself and others before me should be given reparations for the negativity that was inflicted upon me and many others before me. What is Spike that I was very proud to be a United States Marine. But I do deserve more been a apology

27 dollars an hour in 1982, that’s why your not in business, I worked for 6 dollars to 12. 50 an hour starting in 1983 at a steel processing plant. ( Tonawanda) a non union shop. They had me for 15.5 years. I had relatives in Blasdell, Hamburg, and Eden. Didn’t like driving by Bethlehem plant.( I was just a kid in the 60’s living in north Buffalo). After H.S. I joined the Air Force, then started my working career. ( military, steel, NYANG, and finally a Sewage Treatment facility. Did any one ever drive along the Canada Hamilton steel mills? I would say that their facilities were much bigger than Bethlehem.

Very, shall we say, comical….on how English ( that is to say British ) have a version of this war. Also comical how they ‘freed’ slaves and used them as slaves. I hear “our land” mentioned numerous times by indigenous people. Your land was conquered. No amount of money or liberal political theatre will ever change that. All in all, a very fabled version of what happened. Some of it factual, much of it embellished or outright false.
