White woman always marry the successful, good-educated and rich Black and Brown man. They know who will be good breadwinners. They know because they are white they are a status to those men and will be treated very well. I never see it the other way around: brown or black women with successful, good-educated and rich white men who adore them and treat them as a princess.

What are you talking about? She is an exceptionally well trained and respected physician herself. She didn't marry her husband to find a good "breadwinner".

TheSunshinefee she is an internist and assistant professor. She doesn’t need anyone else for her to make a comfortable living as we all know she likely makes more than 200k. She is incredibly successful and intelligent herself so please leave with your breadwinner bullshit. Like seriously here? Of all places?

UCI does not have a legit School of Medicine...I walk by the nursing and medical school every day and NEVER see any flock of medical students outside of class..if they do have a medical school, it is probably about 30 students...

That was absolutely wonderful. I just finished reading When Breath Becomes Air. I wept at the beauty. Thank you to both you and Paul for your vulnerability and thank you for sharing your speech. Your story is so raw and I don't quite have the words to totally encompass the enormity of it. My prayers to you and Cady :)
