I have been watching some of your Kenyan travel videos. Although some places seem disadvantaged and life is hard, I get the feeling that these places have a heart and soul compared to a place like Hoddle Street Collingwood which is cold, sterile and alienating I believe that the environment can turn people into deviants. Back in the 1980s, some deviant massacred several people in Hoddle Street. There were also gruesome murders nearby in Easy Street. And then there was the Port Arthur Massacre in Tasmania where relatives of mine were murdered. There is something sick in this society. Travelling broadens the mind just by watching.

Why can't Kenya build decent public transport terminus/stations? Those ghastly buses parked everywhere/anywhere by the roadside seen from about the 6:47 time-mark are a blight on the environment. Not a good look for a city of a people who makes so much noise trying to convince the rest of the world that Nairobi is a leading city in East Africa. Surely Kenya should be able to run a decently organized city transport system. They don't have to wait for the Chinese and Indians for something so basic. Tanzania, Ethiopia, and Rwanda are doing it, there is no reason Kenya shouldn't be able to do it.

The 'affluent' Lavington needs to start building decent sidewalk pavement. And I think it looks too dusty for a supposedly affluent town. Same red dust all over the road passing through Lavington just as you see on Jogoo Road. Not a good impression.

These travel videos can have a tremendous impact on some people. I remember watching a video about this town you visited called Collingwood. It brought lots of memories. All bad. I worked at this place which had a large migrant workforce made up of Greeks, Italians, Maltese, Indians, Mauritians ,Sri Lankans and Anglo Saxons Australians. You walked down the street the place I worked at was located. Looks like it is now occupied by a different company and looks different altogether. Thank God. This place was rife with racism from all quarters, hypocrisy, favouritism, nepotism, kowtowing to the mainly white anglo Australian management by the migrants to gain favours and the contempt and indifference the anglos had for the migrants. I was a naive young lad and my eyes were opened to the mechanics of Australian society. Things have not changed. Now Australia is home to bad eggs from everywhere due to supid government migrant policies. Gangs are everywhere.
