Can u give me the part number for the belt I just picked up a 1985 Indy trail 440 and I want to get a new belt and what kind of brake line did u use

I have the exact same ATV (year, size, color, etc.). Only difference I can tell is I have a wench (it works great for occasional snow plowing). Mine’s super cold-natured too. I rebuilt the carb and just can’t seem to get it tuned to stay idling from a cold start, but it’s great once it’s warmed up. I bought mine from the original owner maybe 15 years ago and have no plans of replacing it any time soon. If you still have it, can you start yours manually with the starter rope? For the life of me, I cannot.

I loved my Prowler; I learned to ride it on one side. I would lean way to the left using my body weight to bring the right side up, and ride as long as I wanted driving on just the left ski, and I could also do turns while on just the left ski. Left turns were easier, but I could also so slower right turns. I figured and was told this would wear the left side of the track & slides and I noticed a tiny bit of fraying on the left side of the track, but kept doing it and never noticed a problem with the track while riding level, and never needed to replace the track, and I had put about 3,000 miles on my Prowler. I also did the same thing with my first Arctic Cat Jag 330, but was easier on the Prowler because the center of gravity was a bit higher on the Prowler. When I got a Cougar it was harder to do with it's lower center of gravity. But with my Prowler I could ride for miles on the left ski.

i'm looking at a 94 artic cat 580xr, barnfind with a a whoppimg 37 miles. However, it's been laid up since 95. You can just imagine what was inder the hood as it bacame a rat hostel. All the wiring has been stripped clean by hungry teeth and anything has moving parts is seized. I imagine recovery costs will outweigh the actual price of the sled these days.

that front fitting you have the vent hose connected to is actually a vacuum port for the king quad fuel pump. Same engine and carburetor. You have a massive vacuum leak like that which is why you had a hard time tuning it. Put a plug on that fitting and reset everything to stock. It will run perfect.

Wonder if the hydrostatic fluid has ever been changed on it. Don't listen to john Deere they say they are sealed and maintaince free, but they aren't. Tuff Torq who makes it, recommends you change the fluid every 250 hours.

Got this same compressor mine seems a little older two horsepower 8.3 SCFM at 40 PSI. Good little machine got it from a buddy and a co-worker of mine for cheap took it apart put it back together just to look at everything it really needs a full tear down and freshen up The last owner has pipe dope on all the fittings and just kind of sloppy and a little leaky
