*Take this ayah as a Principle:* لَيۡسَ كَمِثۡلِهِۦ شَيۡءٞۖ وَهُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡبَصِيرُ } There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer. [Qur'ān: 42:11] Allāh first mentioned that there is nothing like unto Him. Then immediately after that, He affirmed for Himself two attributes: Hearing and Seeing. These two attributes: Hearing and Seeing are the most common attributes which are found in most of the creation. Question: So why did Allāh ta'aala affirm these two attributes to Himself immediately after clearly stating that there is nothing like Him? Answer: Because the first part of the Ayah is negating that there is anything like Allāh in His Perfection (i.e. perfect attributes). The second part of the Ayah is affirming these Perfect attributes for Allāh (Hearing and Seeing). So the ayah is not negating that Allah has attributes, rather it is negating that Allah is like anyone in His perfect attributes (i.e. No one is similar to Allah in His Perfection. No one has perfect attributes like Allah). As for these misguided sects, they try to use this ayah to say that there is nothing like Allāh. The creation has attributes, therefore Allah cannot have attributes because there is nothing like Him. This is dangerous and essentially this is Kufr. Because something that does not have any attributes is non-existent (nothing). So we ask those people: Does Allāh exist? They say: Yes. So we ask: do you exist? They say: Yes. So we say: You have just likened Allah to the creation! (According to your own principles). They say: No, we do not make Allah similar to the creation. Our existence is not like the existence of Allāh. So we say: Exactly! So why don't you apply this Principle to all of the Attributes of Allāh?! Why don't you say "Allāh rose above the Throne, but His rising above the Throne is not like the creation."? And why don't you say "Allāh has Hands (that befit His Majesty) but His Hands are not like the hands of the creation."? And why don't you say "Allāh has Two Eyes (that befit His Majesty) but His Two Eyes are not like that of His Creation."? And so on.. Far above is Allāh what they attribute to Him of lies and similarities to the creation! If The Qur'ān is the Most Clear Book in the most clear Arabic language, then why would Allah ta'aala mention His Perfect Attributes in there if they were not the intended meaning?! Why would Allah mention these things clearly and order us to believe in them, if these things resemble the creation? (Which is essentially Kufr) And we seek refuge in Allāh! These misguided sects are saying that if you believe in the Qur'ān at face value then you fall into Kufr! That's because they suffer from this disease in their hearts - Resembling Allāh to the creation. When they read these Perfect Attributes of Allāh, they have an image in their minds of the creation. May Allāh ta'aala guide us and keep us firm on the straight path.

You are a liar Asrar. No one from the salaf negated the sifat of Allah. In fact you lot, the Ashari and maturidi are the jahmi Aristotle Plato Greek philosophers thst use speculative theology or Ilm ul kalaam to NEGATE the sifat of Allah. No salafi says the Hand of Allah is a limb and compares it to the creation. The one that accuses the salafi of mujassimah is the mujassimah. The one that negates Allahs attributes is the you Asrar.

has imam zahbi talked about Abu tufail??? why he is misguiding. imam ibn e aljauzi make tazeef of one hadees in his book because it has the words that imam abu hanifa heard from anas bin malik and claimed on the refrence of imam darulqutni that he stated that imam abu hanifa just saw him but not heard or met him in anyway... even people of that time accused him of this that a sahabi has come and he is not going to meet him. seeing someone from far away doesn't make you the companion of him yet scholors of my country have been claiming that he was the student of more than 500 sahabas .... but the reality is only 3 sahabis were alive at that time in which only anas cane to kufa and noman bin sabit just saw him ...not heard any hadees neither met him
