@mylxinjuneprologo1253 it is not for a Black5, this is a Thompson B1, but regardless I like it and I think it is fair to say that the Black 5 was one of the most amazing mixed traffic locos ever and whilst the Thompson B1 was not as prolific they did build 410 of them so it was also very successful and probably the Bla k 5 would have been the inspiration for Thompson.

It is Billy Clarke, do you know Billy? He lived in Sydney but now resides in the UK. Billy is a good ringer and a it of a heavy bell man too. A very humble and decent man if ever there was one. I know who used in ring at Clerkenwell a lot. One of my favourite 8s in London G&J of course.

One small that needs adding Steve, a safety chain to the smoke box door to stop it opening too wide and fouling or striking something. I saw this at Minehead forty years ago, the fireman took the chain off the door to shovel ash out, the smokebox door swung right out, as this happened the driver moved the loco forward, the door struck the front of the loco shed and bent the hinges very badly. The engine was out of service for nearly a week and this caused trains to be cancelled.
