And there you go. That's why the most popular musician at the time Elvis Presley made it his quest to hit that. How can you blame him.

WOW, wow, wow! Too sexy for the main role for sure! The only other singing role of hers I've seen was in Tommy, in which she was amazing. But apparently she did a ton of vocal performing and recording, as well as dancing, before and concurrent with her movie career. Stunning!

Elvis's granddaughter Riley could play Ann Margarette if they used her now at her age. However, I'm sure Priscilla would have a fit about that.

Hell, in 1960, women were already wearing this type of clothing? I only saw women dress like this from 1995 onwards.

She’s adorable! As a gen x my only exposure to her in my life was when she guest starred as Ann Margrock on the Flintstones. She was wonderful on that show as well, it’s cool to see the real her.

Ok, set aside the crass lust comments and focus on the precision style, the incorporation of the fancy footwork with tap. Not writhing, but ‘GROOVIN’. And fast forward to the @postmodernjukebox style of today. And….the spot on ensemble. This was more about the joy of the tune, and the fun! Yes it shocked folks. Then the lyrics. I’m sure the prudes don’t get the fun. It’s not twerking. Just respect the talent and fun. Lust is in the eye of the beholder. Just dig it. May God bless Ann Margret and her studio musicians.
