I can’t agree with the doctor at his last statement - I had been looking for advise from different vets for almost 4 years. I was recommended to shower my horse, clean saddle pads (it’s in the saddle area), change saddle etc etc. until last vet told - no, it’s a skin tumour you need only a surgeon I would not give you any other recommendation. Considering the fact that I have only 2 surgeons from 2 clinics available I found one with whom I know I’m working on this tumour now. We had an injection because the place it is positioned according to the surgeon has highest risks of complications so surgery for us is the last resort. Long story short - not always owner is doing nothing

Ich bin amüsiert über die Kommentare hier. Erstens weiß doch jeder, wie es im Leistungssport vor sich geht, ganz egal welche Disziplin. Zweitens sehe ich hier sehr fein gerittene, sehr gut ausgebildete Pferde, die jung und talentiert sind und die ganz sicher keine erst 2 Jahre alt sind, wie hier hetzerisch behauptet wird. Diese Manöver brauchen viele Jahre des Trainings. Drittens sind solche Pferde an dieses Warm up durch langes Training und Aufbau heran geführt worden. Sie kennen dieses Reiten und ob man es glaubt oder nicht : sie werden dafür gezüchtet und haben in den allermeisten Fällen richtig Lust und Begabung dazu und fordern das stetige Training ein ( mein Pferd zum Beispiel) Viertens verstehe ich nicht das Problem, warum man nicht auf eine Wand zureiten darf aus Trainingsgründen für den richtigen Stop. Das Pferd vertraut seinem Reiter und der seinem Pferd. Schließlich würden sonst beide an der Wand landen. Genau das passiert aber nicht. Ich möchte gar nicht die Millionen Pferde auf dieser Welt aufzählen, die durchgehen und ihren Reiter in der Halle gezielt an genau solch einer Wand abwerfen. Übrigens aus eigener Initiative, mangelndem Vertrauen und falscher Reitweise ! Fünftens verstehe ich nicht, warum Leute sich hier Videos anschauen oder sogar selber drehen, mit denen es ihnen offenbar nicht gut geht aus persönlichen Gründen. 😂 Und sechstens wette ich, dass jeder Hater hier, der sich als Tierfreund und gegen Tierquälerei ausspricht, zuhause täglich Fleisch und Wurst aus billiger Massentierhaltung isst, ohne sich darüber Gedanken zu machen, woher sein Fleisch kommt, wie das Tier gehalten wurde und für ihn sterben mußte und warum er einen schrecklichen Kreislauf unterstützt ohne Bewusstsein dafür.

Ive been bitless for 2 years and my horse loves it. I get a beautiful natural head carriage expecially in trot with hands forward and just a little leg (no spurs), but ironically bitless isnt permitted in dressage.

Question: Why are the nosebands checked AFTER the competition and not before going in? That would make much more sense to me.

Is there a greater form of evil than that which is displayed in plain sight while being labeled as humane? I think not. It’s 2024 and I’m watching the Paris Olympics. I’m a total novice when it comes to Dressage, but after learning what rolllkur is, it’s absolutely obvious to me that people are still using it. Shame on these so-called horse guardians. What hypocrites. In it for the money and win.

I took a class in. college on perceptual psychology. The focus was on the limits on witness testimony and the role of bias in perception. Basically, perception is greatly affected by emotion. There were many criminal justice majors in the class and it was observed that a group standing around after an accident immediately begin to affect everyone’s memory of the event. People at the horse event form a bias audience. This terrible bias has created an abusive sport for the horse.

Can not watch this. Dressage should be banned
