Hahaha love you guys What a way to go, though. For what it's worth Jean got put down by Jackdrujs, and they were excellent - one of them even went out of their way to check in afterwards. It was a shame the body couldn't get dragged through in the end but I made do with John-not-Jean'ing so I could lurk in the background of everything. The worst bit was right at the end of Sidlore's final speech to the assembled... and then he admitted he didn't want to die. Awful. Glad I was there.

To tell the league side of the story: The block was sent to guard a flank without support, leading to our forces being encircled by the Jotun and us being routed into the thicket, losing our general and many of our friends. In short, it was the most crap-your-pants moment I've ever experienced in a larp so far.

At the end of the night I was sat in Wise Guys at the fire with Bella and Nico having a very emotional talk over our losses of the event and then ended up having a little cry when I found out that our little Navarii friend Shark Bait had died in battle, it just pushed it over the edge for me. Honestly one of the best and most emotional games I have ever been to. Fantastic recap of the event Hot Merc Summer!

It was meant to be a relaxed hot Merc summer , but there were So many friends lost a long the way ! Though what an event it was , it’s a testament to the game and its players that it can touch the emotions just so !

Aw yis sound effects. I was part of that group that fucked over the national block early doors. We had a coordinated strikedown and charge which pushed people back and left others on the floor. Lmao at these pitiful small death counts. Come back when you hit glory pile levels. And the song was actually...
