I have had at least 4 this type over two decades they are all very similar. This is probably the least expensive of them and works better or even the best. The weak spot on most of these is the curved piece that is on the bottom; it snaps into place on both ends and sooner cracks and somehow has to be zip tied. Each time it cheaper to buy a complete new cleaner. In any case keep the hoses replace the unit and move on. I would buy this one again.

Yes I keep using the same hoses from the previous one until I need to replace a section. I will continue to buy these because I definitely get my moneys worth before it needs to be replaced. 😀
