Thanks for the clarification for Dream Surge's healing! How good is Master Shapeshifter in terms of mana regen in a raid setting, in your oppinion and do you think it will get nerfed before TWW goes live? And also, have you done any m+ testing on rdruid and do you plan to make any videos on that?

No problem! I think mast shapeshifter gives a solid ammount of mana back. The numbers are still pretty untuned in beta so some fights druid seems insane, then it seems awful. As far as M+ goes, wildstalker hero talent seemed good but my heals felt like they didnt do anything. im hoping once we get another number pass things will look better1

You can spam wrath as a filler for mana with master shapeshifter, especially now that you don't need to shapeshift in to Moonkin anymore. I don't see mana being an issue ever if you play well.

Nice video, I like the full length fights showing different builds, I would suggest adding a cast sequrnce add-on so we can see what you casting to get a feel for the game play

I’m a Resto Druid main and I won’t be playing it on launch. I learned my lesson last xpac. There is no way spamming wrath in tree for 6 rejuvs worth of mana will ever be worth it in a high end raiding guild. I was constantly mana starved on my Druid in DF from needing to blanket rejuv the entire raid at all times. Rdruid also provides no real raid wide utility like every other healer can. Stampeding roar can be brought by the boomkin. Resto Druid is a greedy healer that honestly isn’t mean my for raid environments and probably never will be which is why I’ll be maining my pres evokes on launch for mythic raids.

Eh I mean liquid used rdruid for race to world first so there is some merit. We bring mass roots or vortex for CC along with roar every minute but I agree it’s not the best I just enjoy druid too much to not play it but I think your decision to play pres makes sense

hpal was insane until they got nerfed, their hero talent was letting them easily do like 1.18 M in raid

@@Nifuji_TTV tested mythic alongside two of them after nerf ( the removal of glimmer and so on ) i believe , they were hitting 1.8 M.

Yep just for mastery stacks. Even if you are running convoke build, you will do way more healing if you have 8-12 hots out before you use convoke because you’ll have that many stacks of mastery:harmony

Even with the little nerf they gave to Photosynthesis, do you think it will generally be the choice for fights? Hate that they are taking Flourish from us 😢

I think so, reason being they didn’t buff flourish. Basically they said “dang they are always going to take photosynthesis, let’s nerf it” but the issue is that it’s just the better spell. assuming we have 85% or higher uptime on lifebloom, that means 10% faster healing for almost the entire fight Vs 3-7 flourish casts :< it’s just better IMO

When do you use regrowth and when do you use rejuvenation in tree?

It’s all based around abundance stacks, if you get into tree and have less then 10 rejuvs out, try to throw some of those out before you use any regrowths so that they cost less mana, BUT if you pop tree and the entire raid is like half hp or less, I’d just throw some regrowths on high prio people before starting to rejuv everyone

I have not tried it out in raid yet, I’ll give it a shot on Sunday during normal test. I know the symboiotic blooms will work even without ever entering cat form, it might actually be really good for raid because I believe they can spread a lot !

so lets say u have 20% mastery, then the tranq hot with 5 stacks makes u heal 100% more than usually for its duration, so in some situations it might even be worth using flurrish after tranq if u have ramped before, then u can rejuc spam and wild growth spam after as well with a lot more impact. i have experienced close to 200k rejuv tics in m+ :P. wih the low health talent and tranq hots and other hots up, with lifebloon on me thats crazy healing two rejuvs critting for 150k everry 1.6 sec is nuts. the shame is that the tranq hot is not longer, if it was 25 sec for example it would be a much stronger cooldown in a cool way. i think the intention is to have it interplay with the mastery, and it does, but its just too short and weak to be all that great. it was amazing in SoO when i last raid healed, now it feels a bit scuffed, i think that is because it is so short, it feels better in 5 man content or in smaller groups where i can ramp properly for the entire group and actually make some stuff happen with the shorter hot, but if it was something like 25 sec or even 30 sec, even if it was weaker, it would be awesome.

I like resto druid in 5 man content, it feels great but raid playstyle is so different and more difficult. I also like druid for being the prime "hot healer" and the treants deviate from that for more instant throughput. It's not like the treants ever have been a choice since it was implemented even when it sits on a choice node just because it's so strong.

The playerbase are adults now and don't have 10 hours a day to no life a game. Having frustrating and poorly balanced abilities that don't feel fun is not real difficulty. It's like you've never played classic. The raids were dog easy in terms of mechanics but the abilities were trash, so it felt harder than it should have. Nostalgia is a helluva drug.

If you are stationary with prep you can get 15 out, especially if the damage is on pull, but that’s also why I mentioned another ramp of 8-10 which is probably more typical

Hey Nifuji ! great video! just to make thing easier you can use warcraftlog's build-in Compare feature - its found to the right side from current boss you are viewing , on same horizontal level where you choose boss---analyze-compare, this feature will just remove the need to browse 2 tabs at same time - instead it will auto-switch both comparable logs to the tab you want to view. Hope it helps you!

Awesome guide man! I'm curious if you ever build 2 stacks of reforestation before the pull and then at 1 second on the timer swiftmend to get the 10 seconds tree form to start the fight. I learned this on smolderon progression where there is early damage, but I do it on every pull now.
