I used to see these guys all the time. They always put on high-energy shows and were super nice guys as well. It's weird seeing TTs again, it's basically Sonia now.

@guynoir5968 I was there also, that was one of my favorite shows of all time. When they got through their encores (including a cover of Motorhead's Iron Fist IIRC), but the crowd still wanted more, JJJ said they had already played literally every song they know. So they played December again as the final encore. Such a positive and joyous show, so glad I got to be there.

I am astounded at the sound quality of this live recording, it actually captures that deep chug power that is so often lacking in live hardcore recordings. Massive respect to whoever recorded this

A friend of mine gave me a mix tape in the mid 90s that featured the Shods and I listened to it a ton. Sick band. They're probably a pretty big reason why Rancid is my favorite band ever

I was at this show. Standing on the bench to the left of the bar. They played December twice. Jonah asked what people wanted to hear for the last song and almost everyone shouted "December!" A song so good it's worth hearing twice in a show.

I got the chance to meet Jonah & CO. Years ago & remember him over @ Ron's music place over in Billerica. ( although I can't recall the store name. That Ron was I think friends with Ron Lessard out in Lowell, better known as Emil Beaulieu / Due Process) I had no idea that Eric passed on...wow..RIP ERIC! I hope your bro is still out there kicking ass musically. Here it is MANY FREAKING years after this debut & I saw Jonah again on a documentary that I vaguely remember somebody making about the metal scene over @ something I'm proud to sponsor called RPMfest out in the Western MA. I Remember when they where trying to figure a name..... from formicide then finally hitting on hey i just saw the "Only Living Witness" in the old boot mills rehearsal space before moving down in to the basement .... Kevin + Eric awesome......
