I just found your channel and i freaking love your idea of the game Speechbound, i am gonna add it to my wait list. I only know a very very small amount of Spanish and Japanese, and can't speak either, i find language learning apps too boring and put me to sleep and i am not dedicated enough to want to try talking to real people, at least not yet. Your game looks amazing. games is how i learned a lot in my life and honestly there isn't any interesting video games out there for learning languages. I look forward to giving it a try.

Habe deinen Kanal grade entdeckt :) Ich habe eine Japanisch/Chinesische Freundin, aktuell führen wir eine Fernbeziehung. Ich habe einige Videos gesehen wo du Chinesisch sprichst. Ich lerne aktuell ebenfalls Japanisch und Chinesisch, ich habe auch angefangen mit ChatGPT zu lernen, allerdings geht es mir manchmal viel zu schnell ! Meine Freundin spricht zum Glück Englisch und lernt aktuell Deutsch. Ihre Chinesische Familie ist relativ groß, wovon zum Glück ungefähr 5 Leute Englisch reden, mit denen habe ich mich auch schon Unterhalten. Aber weder ihre Eltern noch ihre Freunde sprechen Englisch, dementsprechend bin ich sehr Ambitioniert die Sprachen zu lernen. Sehr cooler KZbin-Kanal! Ich freue mich schon darauf, die anderen Videos zu sehen

Hey, freut mich das wir uns gefunden haben in dem Fall! Japanisch ist super cool, ich damals in der Volkshochschule in München ein halbes Jahr gelernt, aber das war eher ineffizient und ich habs nicht weitergeführt. Dem Chinesisch geb ich noch mindestens ein Jahr mehr Aufmerksamkeit, vielleicht danach 2nd try? 😅 ich glaub das beste ist Chatgpt zu nutzen um Sätze zu bauen für Flashcards, das ist mein go to!

Not unless you set yourself shorter goals and try to hit them, and then immediately start working towards the next short term goal (with a long or midterm goal in mind). I.e. I have lots of 1 or 2 week goals, for example learn 50 Russian sentences in the next 2 weeks itensely. That way those goals will give a real feeling of accompaniment and motivation! You can do it!
