There after 4:19 talking about clearance to have the lid fit the layout as standard, those blue rock face pieces look like they give pretty narrow clearance to the trains. And likewise in the view at 9:00.

Hi there, thanks for the comment! The loco is the Graham Farish N Gauge No 1017 Class J94 NCB Blue. They're not too hard to find on eBay. The truck is a non descript one I had that I rubbed down and repainted...probably badly!😁👍🌍🚂

Ah...right! Well funnily enough in the next week or so I'm about to complete the wiring on my new layout Dongé Farm. So I will be videoing that, but with a little more care in mind to share. That might be a start? Also I like 'layouts4you' (www.layouts4u.net/n-scale-lighting) as a source for good inexpensive lighting. Nano Led's are your friend!😁👍🌍🚂

Hi Paul, cheers for the comment! The track is mounted on some old Sundeala or Poster Board I had. It can be a softer quieter compound to put track on to instead of just on to wood/ply/ what have you. All the best jules😁👍🌍🚂

As a more user friendly alternative to the plaster may I suggest Scenic Compound from Geek Gaming scenics. I've been building and making models for over 45 years, but I'm new to model trains, so I've been watching a variety of channels. Recently I've been watching Boomer Diorama, I thought I knew a lot about scenery building, but I learn something in everyone of his videos I watch.
