Marilyn Horne is one of my favorite opera singers. I never could understand why she didn't get as much press as Beverly Sills. Ms. Horne's duets with Montserrat Caballé were fabulous.

Davvero L'Opera Italiana è una MINIERA INESAURIBILE !!! Non conoscevo questo pezzo. E dico pezzo con umiltà; non so se è una aria o qualcosa d'altro nelle mille definizioni possibili. Ho fatto le scuole italiane dell'obbligo. Laddove l'Opera non è MAI stata INSEGNATA in nessuno dei suoi aspetti; musicale, letterario, storico, finanziario, di costume, ecc.
