No mention of their payment processing fee anywhere here or on their website… probably astronomical.

Orange Charger never responded to my website inquiry. What I am interested in learning more about is using Orange Charger at home that's used for both personal and rental purposes.

I'm wondering if it is true that Teslas have charging ports on both driver and passenger rear portion of cars? This would be helpful for various situations including place where magic docks are in use with non-Tesla charging on adjacent supercharger. I'm just curious because I saw a video and wondered if it was a fake video?

Oops, looks like I've been fooled, someone using the mirror image on video to make it look like this is true.☹️

2020 Model 3 LR-AWD (47,400 miles) Three Problems: 12 volt lead acid battery failed - Field service replaced the battery under warranty before the car was left stranded (Aug 2023). Front-right seat sensor failed - Sensor replaced by field service under warranty (Sep 2023). Ongoing issue with wheel alignment and excessive tire wear. Issue remains unresolved.

The only issue I've had with my 2016 Kia Soul EV is the backup camera has stopped working, just a black screen when it should be on. I understand this is a pretty common issue, perhaps water got into connection. I will eventually fix it but I'm living without now for about a year.

@Brandon how’s your experience been so far with the Nissan Leaf and the cold weather? We own a 2018 Nissan Lead S (40Kw) and see about a 10-20 mile drop in the winter in Southern California.

Orange Chargers would be best installed in normal parking spaces, ... so that IF you drive electric then you have an easy option. ... that are a little further away from the destination, so as to be less likely occupied by non-evs. ... by the dozens if not hundreds, so that it becomes ubiquitous and readily available everywhere. Example(s) at a Hotel, on every space, or at least half of all the spaces. at a University, on every solar covered space (on the support beams) at RV Parks in every space so that if the Park has open space, EVs can charge too in parking Garages, in half of all the spaces, no more arguing over whether a space is ICED I would like to know the ROI for each unit

I was at first annoyed that Chargeway wanted my phone number but once I eventually input my (non primary) Google voice number it auto populated with my actual EV. Impressed but not even sure how it knows?

An interesting option for emergency help the Nissan LEAF might have provided is a quick tow with a tow strap pulling another EV for a few miles. I used this technique with my EV when I didn't have enough range to make it home. My neighbor pulled me 2 miles with a strap and the regeneration gave my car about 5 miles charge, enough to get home unassisted after the short tow strap pull.

Where would the Electrician learn about the process for the install. I have a new company and have been down many rabbit holes to find info on what the steps are. I haven’t found much on what needs to happen through permits, work within the electrical room, how to pitch it to the stratas and where to direct them so they can learn more as well. Any info will be helpful

I'd recommend talking to any industry piers that have gone through the process. I know a bit going through it on some projects, but every site is different, has different permits, etc that need completed. - Alex

Did the Chademo plug have a little red light on the handle of the plug? It always turns on when charging and you have to stop charging and within 10 seconds it should shut off and allow you to pull the plug easily.

2. The road you plan certainly would take 2 days. It would be nice to find hotels that have destination chargers, which would eliminate some of the daily charging.

Anyway that you can pick nonhighways or alternative routes like with Google Maps with your trip planner? I get better mileage driving slower and there are charging stops available, but not via the PA Turnpike. What option do have for battery degradaradation data. My car has liquid cooled Samsung batteries, but the Nissan Leaf has terrible battery degradation.

As for new subject, something I've been eager to see, using mobile battery (EV) for home backup or peak shaving. SolarEdge has a new EV charging system that is bi-directional and I'm hoping you can bring them on to chat about this and all the aspects that this opens up.

If Tesla was sincere about adding the Magic Doc to all of their Super Chargers, there would be no need for Ford or any other OEM for that matter to change over to the Tesla connector. Wonder how much Ford had to pay Tesla (maybe Musk personally) for this deal which takes affect next year. Elon will never do a deal if does not benefit him directly. This was done to disrupt the EV industry to his and Tesla'a benefit. Please remember the the Tesla connector was proprietary and was never part of a working standards body in which CCS was adapted. NACS is just a name given by Tesla with no official standards group backing.
