JPL standard will improve when JPL players represent the nation because they'll transfer their national duties to the JPL just like after champs to sports day track and field in each schools.

It is very true, you just don't understand the actual level of the JPL relative to other leagues. The standard of the JPL is not high - it is at best equivalent to League Two in England (4th tier), likely a slight step behind that. JPL talent is being monitored constantly, by all of our managers - Hallgrimson and Schaefer and all of our recent coach attended local games, scouted local talent, and held regular local camps. The reason you don't see more JPL players in the senior side regularly is because they are not good enough. That can change, if serious efforts are made to improve the level of local football. But doing what you are doing here and pretending the JPL is some goldmine on senior-level ready players who are just being ignored is not helpful, it's just delusional. A few local JPL players, like King, are much better than the JPL standard and absolutely on par with the average English 2nd or 3rd tier player. Most JPL players aren't close to this, and if those players were actually that good, they wouldn't be in the JPL.

@@rnhor4924 This is not logical.To start, that's just not how football works - this isn't track and field. National programs don't develop talent, clubs do. There is no successful football nation relying on the national side to elevate players. You can't develop talent that way. It is the JPL level that has to go up, and that has to happen separately from the national program entirely. The league needs to improve, and so does all development on the island. Forcing JPL players into the senior side for "development" just results in a weaker senior side and a continuously weak JPL. A stronger JPL will be built with better coaching, better development of youth players, better nutrition/training, etc. The problem can only be solved by going back to the foundation and improving how players develop.

Lol I watch king locals games and I am a fan but he not ahead of holgate stop it lol, holgate played in premiere league where he had to learn the different scheme and moves from the top forwards in the world and how to stop it, king if giving an opportunity to play in a top club he will get good training as well, but this is not 98, football evolved , king hasn't played against any top forwards, just USA and Caribbean teams, yes I would start him in the upcoming qualifiers next year but to say he ahead of holgate is insulting and holgate even scored on Saturday for his English club, I been watching king since Clarendon college days

In my opinion JPL players are more determine to represent the black, green and gold more than the foreigners all because they're all raised in Jamaica.

@@rnhor4924 Determination is not relevant if you lack the ability to play at the level required. JPL players do not, by and large, have the ability. The league is not good enough to produce that caliber of player consistently. Exceptions like King will always exist and be elevated.
