A month after my 2nd jab i took different tests in the hospital. I was on 15mg MTX (arghhhh) a week at that time. It turned up i had 0 active antibodies against Covid. Had Covid this march which was pretty harsh. Two weeks after feeling a bit better i got the flu, which came in way harder on top of it.

I was diagnosed with Pulmonary sarcoidosis three years ago ended up going on disability and have been on prednisone on and off for the last three years and now I am on methotrexate and they’re tapering me off prednisone. I’m tired I have diarrhea stomach bloating headaches muscle pains dizzy I have periods of time but I feel pretty good and then I crash. I’m going to start getting the methotrexatein shot form in about two weeks. Hoping it will help the G.I. part

I hope it got better for John. I’m on it over a year now. It’s gotten easier but I’m about to go up to 25mg. I’m not even sure it’s doing any good, I’m still on 7.5mg of pred. I so hope a better treatment comes along. I’m not sure this really works long term with sarc. As no one seems to have a grip on this condition, it difficult using this drug for something you can’t fully understand. I’m on sub cutaneous now after the tablets were intolerable. Azathioprine didn’t work for me. I wish you well. It’s such a tough thing to deal with and difficult for people to understand. I never know what is the disease or the drug. I’m with you on the naps. I get suddenly overwhelmed with exhaustion but I do have moments of great energy. I had a B12 shot last week and I think that helped. 🙏🏼

I have/had this. Lost activity in left vocal cord, but fortunately regained it. Being one of two in the Netherlands. I will listen to this cast tomorrow, but in front i can tell u this had to do with lympnodes in my chest which were granulomatised against the nervepathway of the left cord which runs through the chest (the right pathway is shorter and runs till the bottom of the throath).

Herbal medicine is 100% guarantee of sarcoidosis cure, the reason why most patient are finding it difficult to cure SARCOIDOSIS is because they believe on medical report, drugs and medical treatment which is not helpful to cure SARCOIDOSIS. Natural Roots & herbs are the best remedies which can easily eradicate SARCOIDOSIS so herbal medicine is the best remedies for it. I was once a patient of SARCOIDOSIS now I give thanks to spiritual doctor. Contact Doctor Oje on KZbin channel is there for cure....
I curled up in a ball, until my daughter was born 9 months ago. Trying to uncurl, can't even drive. I live hours away from anything more than a flu shot. Don't know what to do. Just was told today my insurance won't even cober a pet scan because they are a small local community service and they are unfamiliar with the disease to the extent they didnt know it was what it is. If not dor my wife and daughter, I would of killed myself. The pain is to a point now I am feeling a small amount of what i can only describe as resentment for giving me a reason to fight this anymore.

I loved your content a lot. I have been trying to research for a video that really informs everything in this KZbin video. 👏 👌Your breakdown reminds me of the content from Dr Ethan. Dr Ethan's demonstrations are informative and I really learned a lot for my midterms. He is a great Dr in Nottingham! I suggest you watch his channel out and give the doc a subscribe! 👉 #MedicalStudentEthan

Your prednisone chemo year was how I felt my one and a half year without any meds. Before I got diagnosed. I am a 49yr old female. I also went from 62 to 88kg at my worst. I want to start by saying,, my 1st signs, were fatigue bouts and intolerance to long periods of being in the sun where I was nauseated and break out in a hive like rash on my chest ending in blisters that popped and left, open wound flesh like pain, just like chicken pox. My next biggest problem was chronic fatigue that had me couch/bed bound. My 1st gp after 3 months, was telling to go to a psychiatrist. I told him he was not listening and no thankyou very much. I luckily quickly found another g.p everyone raved about shortly after. Who by the way with little testing said straight off, 'I have a hunch this is sarcoidosis'. However he didn't want to tread on anyones toes and had to follow protocol and refer me to a specialist at the respiratory clinic. The head specialist at the hospital respiratory clinic said my spirometry tests look medioca, yet like you I couldn't even be half of me, breathing/energy wise. I actually used that term to the dr, that this is killing my life.He sent me home with a steroid based puffer. I went back to my g.p who said, 'if something doesn't show up soon I can't keep sending you for tests. I have to justify this to the powers that be, ie the government. After constant swelling on my collar bone area and complaining to my gp again, he said the best he could do was send me to the rheumatologist clinic. Who in turn sent me for a biopsy on my lymp node in that area. It came back positive for Sarcoidosis. I am just so infuriated by the government who govern our hospital systems. This so called head specialist knew about Sarc, knew my MRI showed granulomas on my lungs and lymph nodes yet did not send me for a biopsy knowing I was saying to him, this killing my life. Thank God for my g.p. did. I am in Australia by the way. The specialist said that the med journey was steroids and he didn't think I was that bad yet to warrant such damaging drugs. So with that I googled all my results everything I knew so far. Took myself to the chemist. I bought turmeric, curcummin, biotin, hemp seed oil, echinacea and probiotic tablets. Proboscis after I was hospitalised for a day for what turned out to be colitis which I discovered was sarc related. As my brain fog started to lift I remembered my shoulder operation from a couple of years before. I shared a room with 3 others and one snored through the night, one groaned every now and then, the other read till she passed out. Then there was me. I was in sheer agony once the pain meds wore off.I cried on and off, didn't get a wink of rest and they said they gave me the max allowed. I just couldn't wrap my my mind around why they looked at me like I was lying. Luckily for me I brought with me my pain meds from home. I had enough left to take to stop me from screaming, help me. My pain tolerance prior had always been high so naturally I thought something had gone wrong in the opp. My post check up was fine. I resigned myself to thinking old age is here and my body has changed. Little did I know sarc had a hand in this. Moving forward, after just 3 weeks of religiously taking my knee concoction my energy improved out of sight. So once the energy levels fought back, and don't get me wrong I was still having lapses by the afternoon, I none the less was better off than I had been. I could fight back mentally to function. Coincidence, who knows as there is not enough known. Next phase of my journey since has been a fight to push against the urge to do anything because you know what follows. The shooting and stabbing pains in my limbs after any time of movement and always once I stopped. I woke with the classic lower band of back rib pain. I have constant cramping when pushing my energy levels. I wake with foot arch pain when step out of bed. It seems also coincidentally that all previous injury areas ache too when not warmed up. I feel like something is blocking my airways in my throat from time to time. I feel like sometimes my feet are not working properly and I don't notice it till I trip myself up. I have gotten up in a hurry and walked my shoulder in to door frames. It's though there is a missing process between my brain to limb messages. When I had the 1st chronic fatigue stage as I call it. Similarly it was the same. I would walk down my stairs and have to hold on because I couldn't trust my own body. My foot would misplace mid step and vertigo would hit instant and suddenly knew with the scary shakes had I not been holding on I would have fell to the bottom. I hate to think what's in store for me down the track. My children too. They really have no one except me that understand them, especially my two autistic ones.
