Just wondering,why would you even attempt to put that body lift on a newer 4runner? I've bought from them plenty of times! Sounds like you just don't know what your doing..😅😅

I have installed many body lifts on various vehicles. I worked previous for an off-road shop installing suspensions before. So because you bought from them before that validates the workmanship of this so-called body lift kit that I received from them? Even though the holes are off center and the bolts are for another model? I attempted to install a kit that should have been for my specific model vehicle, I discovered that it wasnt... in which case I returned it and bought a different brand with quality workmanship and designed for my vehicle, I installed it and it works great!

Is because you order the wrong product for the wrong year model of ur car this kit is for me 2003 to 2009 4runner

I ordered the correct year... but lets say I did order incorrectly that doesnt excuse the poor workmanship of the product sent to me.

You are suppose to drill it. The reason is because the thicker bolt is supposedly stronger to accommodate the extra height. But honestly that kit is pretty shotty. I hope you got your money back.

What lift and tires are you running?

At this time it was the 265 Nitto all-terrains that they put on the TRD 4Runners. They wear fast in my opinion, I think I would have preferred BFG All Terrains. The lift is Bilstein 6112s up front w Dirt King Boxed UCAs and the rear is a 1.5" Daystar spacer.
