I’m looking at getting into cycling for exercise but can’t spend more than $300 at the moment and don’t want to mess with used market since I know nothing about bikes. This seems like a perfect bike to gauge whether I’d enjoy cycling. Only problem is I’m 6’1” and 270lbs. Do you think this bike would handle my weight (and height with medium frame)? I’d be mostly on asphalt and if I’m on gravel it would be smooth gravel bike paths, no trails like you rode in this video. Any thoughts?
@Hardtail-Shredder-Trilordy9 күн бұрын
I think you should be good, just make sure you good the bigger size. You can also change your stem or seat post to get a better fit as well. It’s a great bike, you can’t beat it for the money.

Type this info Amazon ZTZ 1-1/8" 26/27.5/29" Aluminum Alloy Rigid Disc Brake MTB Fork, 28.6mm Threadless Straight Tube Superlight Mountain Bike Front Fork. Just keep in mind that fork will slightly change the geometry of the bike.

Lets not be delusional the frame is solid but heavy the shifting is clunky and the brakes are fine though it is definitely showing that good bikes can be affordable.

I just got this bike but already I noticed its a pretty stiff ride which I assumed it would be given it doesn't have any suspension so I'm wondering how people deal with this on the trails? Is it you just let your knees and arms soak all the bumps or what? before this I only ever rode mountain bikes so I was always used to having that plush suspension
@Hardtail-Shredder-Trilordy2 ай бұрын
Yeah you let your knees and arms eat up the bumps.

I would love a front suspension soon because I ride the bike to work 25 miles a day. I rode 12 miles today I overall love the bike I just need more comfortable seating that's all I ride 12 miles to work 12 miles back the gears make the travel so smooth and not much power needed I might get street tires since I'm using this for commute more and keep the gravel tires for when I want to go off-road riding 🥇💎🌎⛱️🏖️🦾💚🥇
