How often to feed or what is the best time of day to hand feed
@keenbullyTV19 күн бұрын
I feed my dogs two times a day. I train them for 10 to 15 min once in the morning and a secind time early evening . Its feeding time and training time all in 1. After the training is over what ever is left as a huge reward they can eat it . Up to you if they eat it right there or finish of the training with your dog finishing its food in the crate or where ever you choose. I hope this answers your question and thanks for watching. Cheers

Hello. How did you make this wooden training stand and paw position? I see that the paw stand can be adjusted. Thanks for replay😊
@keenbullyTV21 күн бұрын
Great question. So before i start i just want to say this isnt the best way i feel i could of done better but for how much i paid its was great. It could be even cheaper if i bought supplies to make a bunch but because i was just building this fast and cheap it did the job So all i did was go to my home depot i had the sizes i wanted 2 peices of 2" by 1/2" by 2.5' and 3 peices of 2" by 1/2" by 1.5' honestly can adjust this size to make a smaller or larger box And i bought from a scrap section a thin peice of ply wood that i nailed to the bottom. I purchased partical board that was already painted white you can go with wood and paint your self . So that was the frame. I grabbed a few corner brackets to fasten all the peices together . The boards for the paws are just the same peices but cut to the same width as the box i actully got the guy at home depot to make the cuts for me was free. So once i had 2 more peices for the paw mounts i then boaugh a roll of 2" grip tape to the paws have grip and dont slide as far as them being adjurstable i but a roll of white valcrow tape about 1/2 " wide and i ran a strip on bith side of the box and the 2 mount peices and done the whole thing took 30 min to build and it was pre painted . I also dont just use it ad a stack box i can flip it around like you can see in some of my other videos when i am teaching them place its a perfect place mat for them so double win all in all this costed me about 50 $ to make. I Hope this helps, and thanks for watching and leaving your comment and questions for me to answer 👊😎

Thank you very much for such a comprehensive answer. It really means a lot to me. I still don't have the right conditions for a dog, but I'm working on it, because I'm getting an American Bully puppy as a gift from my good friend. I intend to take him to the exhibition and this video of yours really helped me. I intend to watch all your videos, I just came across your KZbin channel today. I like the way you train and work with the dog. Thank you again for your reply. I will continue to follow your work. 👏👍💪🦍

What kind of breed was the black dog ?
@keenbullyTV5 ай бұрын
Hello @lancebtv_ The Black one is a Classic American Bully and the female fawn looking one in this video is a Pocket American Bully. The breed type of the American bully is separated by their adult height. for example a Classic American Bully in Males is 17 inches - 20 inches (43 cm - 51 cm) at the withers. Females 16 inches - 19 inches (40 cm - 48 cm) at the withers.

Just came across an ad for a "pocket bully" and I never heard of this cross breeed. She's so adorable. I was doing a little research and of course people are against mix breeds and said theyre "red flags". 😮💨 Well I have a goldendoodle so apparently I love red flags 😂.

don't mind me asking but is the black/brindle dog a Staffordshire bull terrier?
@keenbullyTV8 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for the question. He is a Classic American Bully and yes he certainly looks similar to a Staffy but he is a bit shorter then your true staffy and a few other minor attributes are not the same. They say dogs like him lack breed type which is mass and bone structure. but me personally I think the classics like him are perfect especially because he is very agile unlike other Bullies that are much bigger then my boy , Those dogs after 5 min cant run with out being out of breath super fast . My boy he can run and play for a long time he can jump higher then your Standard type bully.
@owenthompson44507 ай бұрын
@@keenbullyTV no problem thanks for the reply either way he looks great, I thought he looked more Staffordshire due to the ears not being as big as the XL so I apologise for that but either way both dogs look amazing

Goodjob big boy! Any tips.? Baylee still resists. I kinda think she hates the leash. My 6yr old twins walk great on the leash.
@keenbullyTV8 ай бұрын
Yes i have a few tips for leash pulling. 1 you need the right collar and leash, so a slip lead leash or a choaker chain or Prong collar is best they all have the same principle and use . 2nd would be to hand feed your dog I have a video on why you should hand feed your dogs . 3 is now when you are walking him the sec he wants to out walk you and just as the leash gets to its full length you are going to make an abrupt direction change . This is why you need the right collar. So as soon as you change directions the dog will feel some disconfort nothing much just some pressure and after a few corrective direction changes your dog will be thinking hey at any moment my human can just change direction and if im not paying attention im going to get corrected . So your dog will start staring at you and paying attention and staying by your side . 4 once your dog is changing directions with you you are going to mark that good behaviour with a verbal yes or even a marker or clicker and the very sec you do this you reward the dog with its food. A few peices of kibble or treats. After some reps and some time your dog will not pull and they will figure out how to do this in the first try . Give it a try let me know how it goes.
@Breezie48 ай бұрын
Thanks I will. I do use theat kind of leash & a good collar. Shes growing so fast ive gotta get her a new collar. Hopefully she will stop being stubborn & not want to walk with me. Thanks for your help.🐾
