I think that is a coincidence and the fact that those countries are Northern European contributes to their consumption of hot beverages. For me there is a relationship between drinking coffee and social interactions, and this fact increases happiness that people feel. At least here in Costa Rica we are very happy when we gather with friends or family to drink coffee and eat baked goods, sharing good times with each other. ☕

1. Roar: it is the most empowering song because I identify with female empowerment to face diverse situations and fears. 2. Get Up Stand Up: this song is empowering because it talks about freedom of opinion and the option to choose what you would like to be in your life, avoiding following the masses. 3. Red Barchetta: I like this song because it also talks about freedom to choose what you want to do and it inspires me to feel the empowering energy of making my own decisions 4. Kingdom: I consider this to be an empowering song because it is talking about feelings and how we can accept them to build our lives. 5. Karate: This song reinforces my internal power to feel stronger, but the lyrics are too simple. (written by: Kattya Bonilla)

Karate: It is in the middle because it reminds me that I can fight against my own demons. 4. Kingdom: I like the message, because it helps me 𝚝𝚘 accept strong feelings without fear. 5. Red Barchetta: It is my last one because it talks about the empowerment of freedom of evading totalitarian law.

1. Baila Me: It is a really happy song. When I hear this song, I get so happy. For me, it is the happiest song of the list. 2. Happy: This song has a happy message. In the video we see happy dancing, and the video transmits a lot of happiness. 3. Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes: Maybe the lyrics are not happy but they tell a nice story. And we can see happy people dancing naturally. 4. Appare Ga Seigi: This video is so important for the Japanese culture. They have a special celebration for the New Year holiday, and it looks like a happy party. 5. Chaiyya Chaiyya: In my opinion this song is not happy, but we have different cultures, and I am not accustomed to seeing people dancing on the train. 6. Grace: The lyrics and the video do not look like a happy song. The expressions of the singer were so intense. And for me, the lyrics are not happy.

1- Get up stand up: from my standpoint, I think this song's lyrics are the most empowering because they inspire people to fight for their rights. 2- Roar: is the second most empowering song because the songwriter inspires people to move forward, in spite of the circumstances, and also never give up. 3- Karate: this is the third most empowering song, due to the fact that the songwriter encourages the listeners to face life with energy and with a positive attitude. 4- Red Barchetta: this is the fourth most empowering song because in this context the songwriter inspires people to be free, take risks and feel alive. 5- Kingdom: this is the fifth most empowering song. The songwriter is crazy in love with his girlfriend. He is living one of the most important moments of a couple's life. The couple gets engaged and this man is willing to do anything for her.

This is my ranking of happy songs: 1. Happy, because it’s a very contagious song and has very positive lyrics. 2. Appare Ga Seigi, because it’s an energetic song. 3. Chaiyya Chaiyya, because it’s a love song. It’s very long but it gives me a happy feeling. 4. Baila me, because when I hear it, I want 𝚝𝚘 dance and it makes me happy. 5. Diamonds on the Soles of her Shoes. It’s a nice song but too slow and boring for me. 6. Grace. It’s the last one in my list for the rhythm, although it has great lyrics.

1. Get up stand up: Bob Marley is for me the best writer and singer that ever lived, and his lyrics are very positive for all. 2. Kingdom: If based on the rhythm, the song Kingdom is the second most empowering song, but I did not understand the lyrics very well. 3. Karate: This group is new for me, but the lyrics and the rhythm of the song are very powerful. 4. Red Barchetta: This a good story, the musicians are excellent, and you need to open your imagination to interpret the lyrics. 5. Roar: Its lyrics transmit a great power; it is a song full of energy and good vibes.

1. Happy: Besides being a popular song, I think more than all the others it transmits to me the most happiness. 2. Appare Ga Seigi: The way that they made the video representing Japanese New Year celebrations, with all the people dancing and smiling, makes for me the second happiest song. 3. Diamonds on the soles of her shoes: although the song does not talk about happiness, the way the African group acts makes it a really happy song. 4. Chaiyya Chaiyya: Indian culture is characterized by being happy in celebrations with dancing and feasting. So for me the Indian culture is a happy culture in many aspects. The song manifests how their culture really is. 5. Baila me: Spanish music is known for using a lot of different instruments and dances that make their music transmit happiness. 6. Grace: For me, this is not a happy song because the genre of music and its lyrics do not transmit happiness at all.

Appare Ga Seigi: I love anime, and this song reminded me of some anime shows. It makes me feel like dancing. 3. Baila Me: It's not my kind of music. But I really like the energy that this song gives. 4. Diamonds on the soles of her shoes: It's a very happy song. I really like it. It's like a Caribbean rhythm. 5. Chaiyya Chaiyya: It's a very coloful video. I like the choreography and how they act. It's kind of contagious. 6. Grace: This song gives me anxiety. It's not the worst song of the universe but it's not my kind of happy song.

From my student MCh: Once I was in a new role and I was going to have my first meeting with stakeholders from India and Singapore. It was my first week, and my boss was supposed to lead the meeting. Five minutes before the call she told me she was not going to be able to attend the meeting, so she proposed to reschedule it. But I decided that I would have the call anyway, and I was going to lead it, despite the fact that I was not fully onboarded and not aware of the process. It was a challenging meeting as the people had strong accents, so it was difficult to understand them. However, I managed to obtain the required information.

One day when my family and I were in the car, a scorpion stung my sister on her neck. That happened when my father was driving on Route 27 close to Escazu. In that moment I grabbed the scorpion with my own hand and killed it. If I had not done that, maybe the scorpion would have stung my nephew who was three months old at that time. For me, it was a brave action because the scorpion stung my hand too. It was a crazy situation in the car and it could have been worse if I had not done anything.🦂🦂🦂😵

Once, my dog ¨Lola¨, a 60-pound German Shepherd, was playing with me beside the pool. Then she fell into the water. Because she did not know how to swim, I jumped in to get her out of the water. Also she was panicking and making things more difficult for herself and for me. Minutes later I pulled her out by myself. I was about 12 years old at the time.

Three new euphemisms to share are: Double slug: A definition of slug is an animal (mollusk) which typically does not have a shell but its body is wet and secretes a film of mucus for protection. The body shape of a slug is long, and this shape could be associated with the bottom, especially when the word double is used with it. Bubble pop: This could be associated with the light sound that a bubble could make when it is popped; on some occasions this sound is the same as when people pass gas. Another association could be with the shape of the bottom, which is round and soft as a bubble. Sonic boom: It is the effect of a loud and explosive sound caused by aircraft like the Concorde. The euphemism could refer to the loud sound that is made by the bottom when people pass gas.

I think that coffee has an emotional ingredient of happiness, because coffee time in whatever place is for sharing with family and friends, or simply to take time to forget all the things of the day with the aroma of coffee. And so, my answer is yes: coffee contains happiness in each cup.

It is an interesting coincidence, but I think that there is not a strong relationship between these two factors. I can factor in the life style, wage per capita, education and many other reasons. We can find more coincidences, like most of the list of the top ten happiest countries are countries located in Europe, in the north. And also Canada, which is located in North América. All have good economies, education, and they all are really cold, perfect for a cup of coffee every time. :)

I think it is a coincidence that the happiest countries have the highest coffee consumption, because I believe that the happiness in those countries is related to the high priority they give to life-work balance and the access to free education and health care. On the other hand, I think that the highest coffee consumption is related to the cold weather and long dark winters in these countries. I am not a coffee drinker myself, but I think that drinking coffee does not bring happiness. It also depends on what the happiness means for you.

It is true that one cup of coffee gives you extra energy and you feel better after it, so I think that coffee could be a source of happiness for a short time. Could it be interesting to determine if there is a correlation between coffee drinkers and the happiness they feel? I believe that the correlation exists, but it is necessary to prove it.
@carlokafarela3548
@carlokafarela3548 2 жыл бұрын
I think drinking coffee is not the primary cause of happiness in those countries but it is a contributing factor. All of those countries have a good economic situation and they can afford the things that they like, such as good quality coffee. The other thing in common is the geographic location in northern latitudes where they have four seasons and they need to drink hot beverages to keep warm a large part of the time, especially during their long winters.

My favorite scenes were: 1) Newborn Babies. When I watched that scene I thought how happy and sad at the same time the new mothers felt, because with the COVID-19 pandemic there was a lot of uncertainty around the whole world. 2) The little girl on the farm trying to get milk from the goat. No matter how bad the world can be, for children it's all happiness, innocence and play. 3) The couple inside the car talking about the pregnancy that they can not get. That part was really sad for me, because despite the fact that the pandemic caused a lot of hopelessness they really wanted to be parents.

From the video, my favorite scenes were the following: 1. The first scenes regarding the women giving birth. They simultaneously showed a lot of pain, but a lot of happiness as well. Probably, this moment will be the happiest and most special in their lives. 2. The man taking a swim in a lake. I really like nature and this place seems to be very beautiful. I could see how he enjoyed that moment and the place he lives in. He started talking about his greatest fear of passing away and being forgotten. Not all people are willing to talk about their greatest fears as honestly as he did. 3. When the woman was crying and her husband tried to help her feel better, saying that they were going through that together. Every one prefers to record and show just their happy moments and not the worst moments. This scene was very real about life.
