I cannot believe how easy this seems when you teach it, this way. Thank you so much for sharing this with the rest of us out here <3

Hi Mrs. K, I'm a student in a college in Bakersfield and I really appreciate the videos because I'll be self studying Intro To Gen Chem (Chem 3A). What I want to know is, for that course, do I need to study only until chapter 5 or chapter 17?? Because I'm seeing both the Chem3A summer 2018 and summer 2019 but summer 2018 has a lot more videos. Thank you.

Chem 3A does cover through chapter 17.

Hi ! I just wanted to say your KZbin channel has been incredibly helpful for me in understanding chemistry. I watched your video on limiting reactants (3.7), and it was great! Is there any chance I could get access to the full video? It would be a big help. Thanks!

CO2 IS NOT the only factor in climate change. Or else it could explain the many many times there has been climate change cycles during the past few billion years on Earth !!! These cycles are mainly ... natural and quite complex to say the least. Cycles from the sun activity (main heat source for the Earth needless to say), cycles from earth core activity (another source of heat), cycles from the AMOC and other ocean currents, and milankovitch cycles (earth rotation and placement around the sun), and vegetation cycles. All these cycles affect temperature cycle and produce climate changes. And these vary from Glacial periods and warming periods, and many times, quite rapidly. Also, temperatures affect CO2 more that CO2 affects temperature. In the times of the dinosaurs, CO2 levels were 5 times higher, and the Earth was quite well going. Lots and lots of vegetation during those times. Because CO2 is after all ... the food for all vegetation, is it not ! In that specific case, 60 millions years ago, the climate also changed, but that time was because of a comet or meteorite smashing into the Earth. But there have been many many cycles of higher and lower temperatures. Just about 12,000 years ago, and that's the latest one in the earth history, and just like it was yesterday if you consider it on the Earth timescale, there was 2 miles thicks ICE SHEET all over Canada and northern USA. Yes 2 miles thick. Let's say it was colder then, and CO2 cannot explain this warming
@ericderome10 ай бұрын
So Get over your CO2 theory, it's not scientific consensus, it's political consensus and media. Period.
@ericderome10 ай бұрын
And the IPCC is all about politics, and buying some scientists, some votes and some taxes
@ericderome10 ай бұрын
Science does NOT need an organization like the IPCC
@chemistrywithMrsK10 ай бұрын
@@ericderome I did not mean to imply that CO2 is the only factor in climate change! This was an example from the textbook to make stoichiometry more relevant to students. The conclusion is that combustion of fossil fuels has contributed more to the increase in CO2 levels than volcanic activity. That is all.
@timbookedtwo237510 ай бұрын
Agree. A simple answer to a complex problem is in most cases wrong. There have bern times in Earth‘s history when CO2 levels were low and temps were high and times when CO2 levels were high and temps were low

Anyway, if the only purpose of it, is to give, the oridary/primary grade Kids, the idea of how sciencetific Experiment should be arranged.. in Order to find/ come-up to the good result/conclusion.So, no objection on how should we go-on telling it to the kids,.. so, go-on..n ..(!?!)
